You're a few chapters behind it seems. Her "incompetent" manager who "happened" to also be a hero had a conversation with the toughs who'd given Pop some trouble, which revealed that he'd paid them to do it so he could help Pop out. They recommend he just try and be himself. He took their advice, and then killed them, revealing himself as Six. Then while disguised as the manager, he invited Pop to his place, which turned out to be a rundown building. He took her down to the basement to show her a room with a bunch of bodies and bees. Next chapter she showed up as the new host of the bee parasite.

I know, it just looked like those bee wings on her back were actually doing something, plus some shots gave her some real crazy anime hover time, so it confused me.
