The backlog is laughing at you

You're all in quarantine. You've got no excuse now.

here's my backlog

Attached: backlog.png (703x77, 3.96K)

Hey man I have a music backlog, a movie backlog, a vidya backlog (low priority), a book backlog
I have a backlog for stuff I need to add to my backlogs
And right now I'm on Yas Forums

Attached: son.jpg (680x661, 79.77K)

Working on Honzuki no Gekokujo and Onisama e...At the moment. After those either Crest of the Stars or Yuno

Do you people just make a backlog and never watch any of it? Why?

Trying to catch up from last season (shinchou yuusha, Chihayafuru, Dr. Stone) as well as watching a couple this season (somali, runway, budoukan):

Lodoss
Escaflowne
C - money and soul of possibility control
Casshern sins
Dead leaves
Hyouge mono
House of five leaves
Guilty crown
Inyuasha
Katanagatari
Le Portrait de Petit Cossette
Noein - the other self
Niea_7
Princess Tutu
Speed grapher

Why would my backlog laugh at me? I always actively watch a show or two in it.
>You're all in quarantine
Quarantine from what?

I started reading yotsuba
it's great

Attached: 1532874425908.jpg (300x403, 37.45K)

All the anime left in my backlog are episodic/SoL series. No way can I watch those one after the other.

There is no race here. No competition. Just watch what you like. I do not have a backlog.

My backlog consists of:

>DanMachi season 2
>One Punch Man season 2
>Glasslip
>Franxx
>Dorvack
>Strike The Blood
>Regalia
>Captain Harlock (either 70s or SSX)
>Daioja since it's only two episodes away from being fully subbed

Right now I'm watching:

>Rikeikoi
>In/Spectre
>Magia Record
>Dorohedoro
>A Destructive God Sits Next To Me (contender for worst anime of the year unless Magia Record really shits the bed in the next three episodes)
>Re:Zero
>Mob Psycho 100 (easily one of the ugliest anime I've ever seen)
>Okaa-san Online (jokes are cringe inducing)
>Vinland Saga
>Hitoribocchi (boring but Wahaha is amusing)
>Zoids Wild (fucking based, easily the best anime I'm watching)

i'm glad you're enjoying it user

Escaflowne and Guilty Crown are high quality, Princess Tutu, Katanagatari, and Casshern Sins are horrible, and Portrait Cossette was very meh.

Make sure to watch Arcadia of My Youth before Harlock, phenomenal film.

the sad part is someone might actually fall for it

I forget and/or find more shows that I'm interested in watching

Because it's the truth

>Guilty Crown
>high quality
lmao

>Princess Tutu, Katanagatari, and Casshern Sins are horrible
these are just fucking boring but not bad

>Just watch what you like.
Isn't a backlog just a collection of things you think you might like? Sometimes watching one thing can make me gain several things I want to watch. If it was a race I'd binge them all upon choosing them instead of spreading it out as a backlog.

There is no quarantine where I live

You'll be dead before the bds come out.

Are there any good ecchi harem anime worth adding to my backlog?

>you have no excuse
my uni wants us to do our shit even under quarantine, online

>Destructive God Sits Next To Me (contender for worst anime of the year)
Yeah I watched the first episode and called it quits

I didn't finish the chuuni show from last season either. Was there actually anything to that danger sense she seemed to have or was it just her chuuniness?

i need to fill up a backlog but i just hate so much anime

I just finished Ballroom (solid 7.5/10)

Now my backlog is:
Guilty Crown episode 10
Noragami episode 4
OWARIMONOGATARI episode 5
DARLING in the FRANXX episode 22
Steins;Gate episode 6
Bakuman episode 18
Made in Abyss episode 2
Fate/stay night episode 13
Araburu Kisetsu episode 11
Code Geass episode 12
Mirai Nikki episode 3
Assassination Classroom episode 2
Yu Yu Hakusho episode 3
Violet Evergarden episode 2
Spice and Wolf (haven't started yet and same for the subsequent listed)
Monster
Handa-kun
Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko
Prison School
Netoge No Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?
Demon Slayer
+
Chihayafuru and Haikyu this season. Caught up on Chihaya and just didn't watch this week's Haikyu yet.

>Having a backlog
It's like you don't even enjoy anime

Attached: 1412155533733.jpg (1499x934, 122.84K)

I've been trying to watch more backlog shows lately, but I've basically run out of the stuff I'm really interested in.

I did get lucky and really enjoyed Dunbine so I went on to watch Ideon after that and then I randomly decided to watch Aria, which got me in a harem mood of all things, then I saw a few of those, and now I'm all harem-ed out after watching To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd.

Now I'm figuring out what to watch next. I have a list of some shows I haven't seen, but I'm not really sure if anything is particularly promising unless I end up liking it more than I figured.

This is on top of watching 20+ shows this season. I've hardly racked up any new shows to watch in the past several years.

>seeds are dropping off
>only have like 6 showd dl'd

i'm not sure if i do

Good choice.

Add more.

I do, that's why I watch a lot of it.

Last week I finished Gundam Thunderbolt and yesterday I resumed Turn A Gundam. Also one more episode of Vampire Princess Miyu, Votoms, Heroman, Scrapped Princess, Buddy Complex, Angel Cop and Gasaraki. WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?
But then I decided to download Dororo (only saw the first cour), Galient, Un-Go, Harmagedon and Please Save My Earth because I'm a lost cause.

I've been very, very slowly going through Tsubasa Chronicle. It's based on one of my favorite manga, and Yuki Kajiura did the soundtrack, and my husbando is in it. But it's just so fucking bad. I've been trying to finish it for years and years. YEARS. I'm going to finish it this month, guys!

Though, since you mentioned quarantine, I've been rewatching Stardust Crusaders on Netflix as I work from home. Netflix gets a lot of undeserved hate, but goddamn if this isn't a terrible translation. I about knocked the tv over when I read "Dan of Steel" in the subs.

My current backlog is the entirety of gintama
go fuck your couch

Please tell me that this stupid thing will be over in a couple months so I don't have to read another bad Corona = beer joke

Latest rumor was this could very well last through the year. We're stuck with it now. Enjoy your quarantine.

I'm not under quarantine, because I'm not retarded.

My problem is that I have multiple backlogs: not just anime and manga, but western comics, novels, movies, etc. If it was just anime, I'd be done in no time.

>I'm not under quarantine, because I'm not retarded.
That's not how it works. Whole cities will be quarantined, you just have to be in the right place at the wrong time. And sooner or later, it will be everywhere.

That's a universal constant with official JoJo subs, they all change most of the musical references, so its not really a Netflix-specific issue

I finally bit the bullet and started watching Raildex. I really liked the first two seasons of Railgun, but I'm not super into Index so far. Granted, I'm only ten episodes in, but it somehow feels both too fast and too slow. It also weirds me out because Misaka (and Kuroko, now that I think about it) gives off a totally different vibe in this season than she did in Railgun.

Attached: Raildex2.png (1766x1019, 2.12M)

>Hyouge mono
Excellent show!
>Noein
Yes, this is great!!
>Inuyasha
WHAT ARE YOU DOING NO

Inuyasha's great.

My spring break got extended by a whole week from classes getting cancelled, I'm gonna try to finish the first season of Gintama by the time they start up again. Only 77 episodes left so if I take a couple days to binge more than usual it shouldn't be too difficult.

I'm occasionally watching Mazinger and Dougram but both are pretty long and I always just feel like reading manga instead. I decided to catch up with Hidamari Sketch and am also reading Akagi and Keroro Gunsou (since there was more translated than I initially saw).

Attached: KeroroGunsouRumiko.png (2038x1542, 1.79M)

What the fuck is that?

I've been meaning to get into Raildex for a while but most fans say the Index anime isn't a super great adaptation, I'll probably just end up reading the light novels instead.

If you're an animeonly, Index 3 (and to a lesser extend, Accel) will be pure bliss. Have fun user.
>tfw no raildex backlog anymore

A lot of these have been sitting on an HDD for years. I'm only watching Eizouken this season and I can barely keep up with that.

Attached: Untitled.jpg (1753x621, 483.77K)

It's been 10 years user, give Sora no Woto a watch

nigga just watch angel egg right now it's a movie

I like romcoms a lot and wotakoi was cute.
Somali is worth watching from this season.

Attached: Somali to Mori no Kamisama 195.jpg (1280x720, 596.16K)

Shoujo Shuumatsu or Sora no Woto

not him but sitting through a movie is pretty rough for me.
I can blast through a show in a day no problem but I'm not a big movie guy.

>Tutu
>bad
>boring

does it get worse later? i'm around 7 eps in and it's a 10 so far.

Attached: 1579482766742.jpg (276x277, 33.97K)

This is right. I've tried to avoid cataloging anime. It just stresses me out. If I forget about something, I'm okay with it.

Oh god, have fun.

Attached: 1581796636567.gif (350x197, 2.78M)

It stays pretty good throughout. I do think the reputation around it is pretty misleading though.

I watch 3 or 5 episodes a day.
Already gave up western tv and movies.

How does something as basic as cataloging stress someone out?

I'm going to buckle down and finally watch star driver

it makes me feel good idk. i like things that are just pure levity though. maybe that bores some people who want Madoka or whatever.

I feel like western stuff is fairly easy to backlog through, but then again I watch much less western media so I guess that's why.

I don't want to think about when I do / don't bother watching anime. I don't want those series to add some kind of structure to my watching habits.

I hope you like episodic stuff and stock footage, and I say this as someone who liked it (Star Driver) quite a bit.

I ran out of anime to watch 2 months ago.
