That's because the UFO Table made a good anime adaption and the nips went out in force to buy all the volumes available. Thing is, the manga is almost done. They are currently in the last battle of the final arc. So everyone went out and bought all 20 volumes at once that inflated sales. If you look at per volume sale, KnY comes nowhere close to the juggernauts of the industry. And what's more annoying than OPfags are KNYfags and normies praising the everlasting shit out of this when it's just a good story but not amazing by any means.
