He obsesses about her a lot in the 02 part of the movie but I don't remember if that was only a dub thing.
There was also an episode where he gets mad jealous of Takeru and gets involved in whacky hijinks when he is trying to look cool so Hikari fucks him, but after that his crush kinda disappears even though it was probably the most blatant out of any in the entire first two series.
