He's representative of the angry young straight male who feels the world isn't catering to his every demand so he bitches at everyone about everything.
Nathan Garcia
Being a bad person doesn't automatically make him a bad character.
Joshua Jones
can anyone explain why they waste their fucking time with this mainstream trash? Listen, most of the time when things are popular to the mainstream it means there is no value in the property.
Adam Thomas
Don't forget the >always takes any modicum of general niceness as intense pity
Owen Ramirez
He would be a good character if he tried to better himself, but no he doesn't. He doesn't and nobody say anything about it, everyone keep sucking his dick and befriend him when in reality, a guy like that wouldn't deserve to be liked by anyone
Adam Jones
>Being a bad person doesn't automatically make him a bad character.
You're right, Endeavor beats his fucking wife and I still like him more as a character than Bakugo
Charles Thomas
>He would be a good character if he tried to better himself, but no he doesn't.
What the hell is the current anime arc then? You think early Bakugo would bother at all with that gay shit? What about the stuff they did with the elementary schoolers?
Luke Collins
Endeavor >>>>> Bakugou, because he actually tries to change his life instead of just bitching about it.
Gavin Gray
>won the genetic lottery and was born with a crazy strong quirk that has basically no weaknesses Thats the point. He knows he is blessed yet he knows he will never match up to the top heroes. He was given everything in life to succeed yet he is failing, and he knows why. He is the reason for his own failure. Thats why he lashes out, because his ego doesn't permit him to acknowledge everything is his fault.
Andrew Reed
People like him?
Brody Gomez
True, it's treatment of said bad personality that makes bad writing. There were many times when Hori tried to make Bakugo appear sympathetic as if being born lucky is an excuse for being an asshole. Even the herotards like Bakugo more as a heroic character.
Charles Taylor
No being a bad character and having otherwise zero depth and personality besides “being the strongest” makes him a bad character
Cameron Fisher
I don't dislike Bakugou himself all that much, I dislike his relation to every other character in the series. If just one faggot would stand up to him the manga would be readable.
Ayden Garcia
>won the genetic lottery and was born with a crazy strong quirk that has basically no weaknesses, no >Constantly bullied the equivalent of a disabled kid throughout his entire primary school life. Deku was a stalker and a textbook definition of All talk and no trousers
I think it took until Inosuke to realize how much of a static, shit character Kacchan really is.Because at first I assumed he'd be just like that fag. But turns out his volatil personality is played for laughs and he becomes part of the group dynamic fast.
To play this kind of archetype straight in this day and age is retarded beyond compare.
>loving mom Constantly being beaten is "loving" behavior?
Kevin Miller
>double doubles The numbers have spoken.
Adrian Gray
>Check dem dubdubs I'm pretty sure Ojiro and Hagakure have been fucking ever since everyone moved into Heights Alliance.
Nolan Sullivan
>Where's the third US poll? It's been lost to time.
Thomas Bennett
I just wish people in the story would call him out on it. everyone is like "hahah oh bakugo you're so silly" every time he rages like sperg and treats people like shit. IRL he'd be the edgy loser who constantly sabotages himself but some how he mostly gets away with it unscathed.
David Long
Official list of Bakugou dicksuckers >Deku >All Might >Ochako >Aizawa >Miruko >Inasa >Hori >japanese girls >tumblr whales >Yas Forums >r/myheroacademia >most of discord
Grayson Cook
He had a modicum of character development where he went from irrationally angry to willing to offer a friend constructive criticism while continuing to be irrationally angry, which is more development than anyone else in the entire manga
Connor White
>IRL he'd be the edgy loser No.
Jack Reyes
I enjoy him cause he is the quintessential prima donna. Sure his personality is shit, but his skills are so good, supposedly, you have to put up with. See anything with weirdo genius hacker/genius singer etc. That being said he is both in the story way too much and way too little, he's there at weird parts, like deku discussing his quirk(s) with all might, when he shouldn't be there, but during the school festival he barely even competes/interacts with Deku in any form even though that would be the number one time for students in the same class to interact.
Sebastian Clark
He's an asshole with a drive to win and I respect that and find it entertaining plus he makes people seethe
Carter Gray
That's because every character in KnY is essentially a gag character that gets thrust into Escape from Neverland.
Jackson Walker
i would’ve bullied izuku too, what a fucking asshole acting like he was hot shit when he wasn’t. would’ve killed himself if he didn’t get into UA haha. Meanwhile you choose to hate on based bakugo who actually has a funny/interesting character baka.
Jace King
I'm surprised how everyone seems to tolerate his terrible personality.
Like shouldn't being a sadistic asshole be an instant disqualification for going to hero school.
Adam Walker
That's the idea. He's had the greatest hand in life, and had everything given to him. He doesn't want to waste that gift, but use it to it's fullest. But you see, he knows he's unworthy. Because All Might chose somebody else. He can beat deku in a 1 on 1 fight, any day. So why is Deku the chosen one? Lets not forget that All Might lost his powers to save Bakugo. Or, as it can be assumed, Bakugo is the reason All Might retired. This is true more so in Bakugo's mind than anyone elses.
The conclusion from this perspective, isn't that he's missing something, but that he's actually a weakling and everyone else is taking it easy. Deku is the example. He seemed to be powerless at first, but suddenly has this God power out of nowhere. It's as if he was pretending. And of course, when you're born with everything you need to win and succeed, yet people with less can do more, you've wasted your gift. Bakugo thinks this, and quite likely the only reason he is so angry all of the time.
Todoroki should have won. Bakugo won, but Bakugo knows Todoroki should have won. He was going easy on him too. It's almost like everyone is pointing out how much of a failure he is by not trying, and being captured by villains and retiring All Might is proof of that.
In short, he thinks the world is mocking him for not being strong enough. In truth, it's not strength he lacks. He can beat Deku 1 on 1, any day. He can beat Todoroki 1 on 1, any day. But being a Hero isn't about defeating your enemies. That's just one part of it. Kindness and compasion. Saving people and protecting people, helping others. For that, you also have to conceed and let others help you in return. Bakugo can't have that. He was born the best, and isn't allowed help in his mind. To him, if he can't be the best all on his own, because his powers are the best, then he's a whole lot of wasted potential. So he just shouts at people to make them go away.
Charles Young
Endeavor pretty much exists to show that strength is more important than being a nice guy a decent amount of the time in that society.
Logan Walker
He's a raging idiot, but he isn't so edgy that his good points and heroic leanings don't get noticed. Especially by a bunch of kids taking classes to develop their general awareness.
Isaiah Cox
They explained all the way back in chapter 1/Episode 1 that you don't need to actually be a good person with positive qualities to be a hero so long as you're helping save people/beating the shit out of evildoers/doing your job
Evan Hernandez
I guess that kinda system has its own merits.
Why become a villain, when being a hero pays so well.
Colton Allen
Because he's strong and nobody wants to mess with the strong dude more so when he has such a volatile personality. Only Todoroki can stand up to him but if memory serves me right Bakugo was never messed with him and that's because Bakugo is a hierarchical prime beast chad that only respects strength.
Carson Walker
>Like shouldn't being a sadistic asshole be an instant disqualification for going to hero school. no? He is a delinquent with a working moral compass and a brilliant future. The perfect material for a teacher.
and yet that's the reason why endeavor will never be as good as all might. Strength is good but it takes more than that to become a 'symbol' like All might
Justin Scott
This but unironically
Blake Anderson
Endeavor is crap. Can't wait until he dies.
Alexander Sanders

It also takes a top notch marketing team and a hero willing to stick to the goddam script.
Not having any huge missteps/disasters also helps a lot.
Dominic Reed
You say "bother with it" as if he really has a choice. He is told to do it, so he's doing it, like any good student would. It's not "going above and beyond" and it is EXACTLY what he has always done.
Ethan Myers
I put down this manga a long time ago and suddenly want to pick it up again. The reason being Denki getting a gf. I'm rooting for this kid. What am I in for? >pic related It's where I dropped the manga long ago.
The fuck are you on about? Fucker could fuck off and go to some normie school instead of "bothering" with any of this nonsense. The life he's chosen isn't exactly a fucking cakewalk and fucking no one is holding a gun to his head.
That he's doing it all says plenty about him. More than his constant bitchfists, even.
