Is it gay that I find Rider more interesting than Saber?
Is it gay that I find Rider more interesting than Saber?
no
yes
Pretty gay
It's not gay to have common sense
Is it gay if I read "more interesting" as "molesting"?
pretty gay
Waver stop posting on Yas Forums and get back to work
It means you have a childhood trauma.
kek
ALELELELELELELLELE
rider was genki
no
pretty gay but that`s fine
Maybe
Literally anyone else was more Intresting than saber
No but it's gay to like fate
You're gay for liking either tbrh
HOLY KEK
>everyone finds saber the least interesting
How do you defend her route?
I don't remember anything about her route but she's now my favorite because of HA.
Kawasumi’s voice.
The 3 least interesting characters were all given routes in order to lower your expectations and appreciate the other characters better.
You’re not gay for preferring one character over another.
You’re gay because you watch anime
it's not gay to be gar
It's gay to not want to fuck Iskandar to be honest.
>everyone
no
It's ok to be straight and a little bit gay for Alexander
DUUUUUUDE, no.
No, but he is all flash and no substance. Saber is no flash and only little substance.
Gilgamesh is all flash AND all substance
Is the king of Britain consuming burgers by the truckload supposed to be some kind of symbolism?
Why wasn't he a Gilface? He looks more like Philip
May the plague struck whoever created this abomination.
Only teenshits will find his nonsense ideology interesting and his behavior charismatic.
>that ep where he and gil sit around and rag on saber together
loved it
I hated it. Their arguments can easily be countered but the writer had to make the saber seem retarded for some fucking reason.
Adults sympathize with Kiritsugu.
Teens idolize Iskandar.
Children wank over how powerful Gilgamesh is.
because she is retarded
>>that ep where Urobutcher used his and Gil's mouth to rag on saber
Ftfy. Also, Iskandar is a huge ass faggot and he has no authority to mock Artoria given how he, his army and his country ended. Gilgamesh at least is aware of his own douchery.
idk, i strongly agree with Saber about the nature of kingship as i'm not an edgy Nietzschean/pagan larper, but the narrative dictates that F/Z is her lowest point, when her ideals are most tested, so i think it's acceptable. ultimately she wins in the long run.
Nah, wise adults agree with heaven's feel shiro
It didn't feel like her ideals were "tested". She just acted like a retard.
Writing for that scene was really off, since Iskandar shouldn't care about his country much. He just wanted to fulfill his dream of reaching okeanos. The country was just a tool for this goal and the army was just a bunch of companions that followed him willingly on his quest. Getting compared to people who actually cared about their countries, people and wanted to base their legacy on them doesn't make much sense.
Nasu >>>>> urobutcher
Well, he's a nice dude. I would befriend him if he were my Servant. haha
that's true
she was definitely ooc in zero, uro needed a overly pure honorfaggot for kerry to shit on. For fucks sake a literal shadow fell over her face, and the music rose to it's peak when she was quivering at the awesomeness of rider's ideals. The show was biased in rider's ideology. Sure, he was right about her autism regarding her regretting her rule, but the way she should react is very different from what was displayed in zero.
Is UBW adaptation good or should I read the VN for FSN?
if something came from a VN
always read the VN
read
VNs have annoying bloated prose and I don't like minimalistic visuals of a VN which hamper your imagination and don't provide accurate image at the same time.
>I don't like minimalistic visuals of a VN which hamper your imagination
I guess you hate books even more then.
then don't bother asking
are you stupid or something? you already decided your answer before asking the question
>ultimately she wins in the long run
Gil was the only successful king out of the three
If nothing else, he has a superior OST.
You didn't understand my point. I love to imagine stuff but I can't when you put something in front of my eyes that is bad representation.
I'm not gonna get off my chair just to teach to some filthy JAPS
I don't know if you're fucking with me or not.
Read the VN.
The images they give you are fine.
Because some VN adaptations are actually good and I wanted to know if that's the case with FSN
sounds like autism to me
Give me names, because I simply don't believe you.
i don't remember the specifics of their conversation because it's been too long but i didn't feel that way when i watched it and i'm a huge Artoriafag. my main recollection is the sense that she was overwhelmed by the cynicism and nihilism around her, which is par for the course in F/Z. i think it's believable that one so committed to ideals of just kingship would be appalled to the point of speechlessness by that kind of moral turpitude and irresponsibility from other rulers of men—that in compound with other factors like her strained relationship with Kiritsugu. Artoria is very alone in her values during F/Z. it breaks her down so F/SN can build her back up.
i mean in the narrative of Fate but i don't think that's obvious given that King Arthur is an embodiment of chivalric virtue not a historical figure
>fine
>le static image of sprites+background
I wish FSN was a novel. Maybe I should extract the text and read it as a novel.
Utilitariansugu is for edgy teenagers
Still the my lowest rated route, but:
>Only route that brings up the fucked up death dungeon under the church
>Herc talking, if only a bit
>Bedivere and Saber scene
>Gilgamesh being a good sport after taking a loss
>The scene where Kirei notices he was stabbed with the blade he gave Rin
All good shit, but that's about it, as far as I can remember.
Clannad was great. Nekopara this season is also far superior than the source
Clannad is pretty great for a VN adaptation but the VN is still better
F/SN explains that Artoria was an ideal king, not an honourfag. If it was necessary, she dirtied her hands, and it often was because Britain during her times was engulfed in chaos. Urobutcher reinvented her character, flanderized her and then thoroughly shat on her.
>i mean in the narrative of Fate but i don't think that's obvious given that King Arthur is an embodiment of chivalric virtue not a historical figure
I agree that in narrative Artoria "wins" because she is the only living figure out of the three, so she still has a chance for character development and hasn't reached her conclusion like the other two.
From either a historical or mythological perspective Artoria probably failed the most due to leaving zero legacy (and she wasn't real lol), Alex left some legacy but his kingdom mostly just collapsed because he didn't give a shit, and Gilgamesh ruined his kingdom by searching for immortality for decades, but then returned and fixed everything, leading to even greater prosperity for future generations.
Gilgamesh returning and fixing shit is basically the Arthurian "the king will return one day to fix everything". Yet another prototype.
>ideal king
>people hate her and her realm falls apart in civil war and cuckoldry
lol
Nah, anime has less fat and the kyoani art/animation make it even more fun to consume.
Saber's ideology is even vouched by dharamashastras. Fuck rider
Her subjects, including Mordred and Lancelot, loved her. Britain was destined to fall because of quantum time lock and no one can prevent that. She was ideal for the time and situation as any other king would lose Britain and their people would suffer more.
The path of kingship is is covered in poo indeed.
You can't QTL future events. It only got QTL'd after it happened.
Funny how Nasu had to invent QTLs and timeline pruning and insert them retroactively to make Saber look less like shit.
Hahaha poo in the loo joke funny bro
she did have her own spinoff until her brother stole it
Then why did Merlin lead her path to ruin? Britain had to fall, just like Babylonia had.
