Personally I think they struggle to settle down the team a performance. It's fine but feel like they over do it a bit and struggle to find suitable end for the performance.

good ideas but somehow the author manage to make it an uninspiring and uninteresting manga. The art is fine but too similar to Hori's so it kinda feels uninspiring. It's just none stop acting now when we don't even get to know the characters at all.

you get CPs for anniversaries, which can be 98 or 105. most series don't get one for chapter 100

I think people were just going to reject another hero themed series no matter what, but the main character wasn't that likable and the early chapters were unexciting. Also relied too much on references to other stuff rather than having its own ideas. I liked the art but the battles themselves weren't interesting. You can look at undead unluck and it feels like a battle series with a lot more character to it.

You don't get covers for you 100th chapter. When did this become a thing?

It didn't get anything for it's anniversary, so something for the 100th chapter would be expected

Very, very, little. The whole reason that ranking carries such relevance is that people are supposed to be buying Jump to read the various series in it. If a series ranks low, it means people aren’t buying Jump to read that series, which means there is limited benefit for Jump to keep the series around. Foreign fans don’t buy Jump.

The only way it survives the next round is if by some miracle three or four other series get axed in its place. Zipman and Bokuben aren't enough.

iirc the chapter getting ranked this week is 21, the last chapter in the baseball arc. 20 also ranked poorly but 19 was #4 in its week, so there's still a plausible chance that the readers genuinely didn't like the series actually being serious and just want gags. We'll know next week I guess.
