What went wrong?

If Kishi hated her so much, why did he created her in the first place? I dont get it

Editors.

why didn't he attempted to write her to be an acceptable char?

He probably did, but Kishimoto is not a very good writer. I will say I didn't mind her until the fake confession but I started to hate her after that

It was revenge on the hot popular girls who rejected and made fun of him when he was in high school.

Her daughter is way better, hotter, stronger, smarter and wise.

and not a bitch who pummels bort for no reason

Yup, she's pretty sweet

I don’t know but God damn does she make my dick hard.

Wasn't that to keep Naruto and Sasuke from killing each other? It was well intended. And if she was so hated by the author, then why is she a beloved member of the village with a husband and daughter and the admiration of many, including Naruto?

Sarada is for Naruto

He needed a girl characters so other girls (non-fujos) would buy the manga. It's part of the shuesha mindset. It was a filler character since the very first chapter.

Because Kishimoto can't write

I doubt he hated her at the start and young Kishi probably had ideas about how to portray human complexity and overcoming your weaknesses but forgetting to give Sakura more screentime to overcome her weaknesses until you reach a point where your manga is about Sasuke and Naruto exclusively sorta leaves her in a state where she's always going to be poorly written and all motivation to make her better is never going to come.

There is literally no well-written female character in Naruto.

>Wasn't that to keep Naruto and Sasuke from killing each other
No, Naruto never wanted to kill Sasuke. The promise he made with her was problematic now that Sasuke was a terrorist, so she tried to manipulate Naruto emotionally so he'd go back to the village

He hated her fanbase, not her character.

>Waaah people don't like my poorly written character!

Sakura had a fanbase? I though everyone just seethed over how pointless a character she was, used only to occasionally stir up some BS for naruto before fading back into irrelevancy.

>Sakura had a fanbase?
Duh. Sakura x Sasuke is literally the most popular heterosexual ship in the series.

What I hate is that Kishimoto hated her so much and it's his own series but he does NOT kill her off. I hate how many mangaka create characters they obviously do NOT like and yet they don't kill them off. I seriously doubt their editors are in absolute control.

If it was revenge how come Sakura got a happy ending? Revenge would be Sakura being a miserable wretch and living a horrid life or being killed.

Her daughter looks like an underage French prostitute.

>Revenge would be Sakura being a miserable wretch and living a horrid life or being killed.
>her husband skipped out on her for 12 years
>literally only fucked her once and left her a single mother
>her entire life now is working long shifts.

He never hated her. That's Anti-Sakurafag propaganda.

She looks like she fucks Cloud Ninjas.

Yes, Kishimoto certainly had such a hate-boner for Sakura that he kept her in the spotlight while dismissing all the other female characters and never attempted to kill her off and always had male characters developing some kind of crush on her.

Kishimoto has started in interview that he thought she was more of a side character comparable to Kiba.

I think he felt he had to drag her along because he had already put her on team 7 and made her tsunade's pupil but he didn't have passion for her character so she was just there at best and a terrible character at worst

I think looking back Kishimoto regrets giving her the spotlight. You can hear that in basically every interview were he talks about her

>tfw no Pain gf

>Kishimoto has started in interview that he thought she was more of a side character comparable to Kiba.
Nice twist of his words. He also mentioned Shikamaru as well. Is he comparable to Kiba?

He tried but her confession was poorly written and he recieved backlash, so he said "fuck it" lets go with hinata,
This is in an interview that some user posted not long ago.

>I think looking back Kishimoto regrets giving her the spotlight. You can hear that in basically every interview were he talks about her

He said the opposite, he said he regrets not Irving her a backstory or not doing her differently so she was popular

How come there are unironic Sakurafags here? Or is all just a big shitpost?

>so he said "fuck it" lets go with hinata,
Lol, Hinata still barely showed up even after that.

>confession
But it wasn't a real confession...

I blame the Uchiha lorefaggotry. It got so bad he had to make Naruto connected to it through reincarnation and being distantly related to them through aliens. By that point, developing Sakura's backstory would have looked out of place and disrupted the flow of the story.

I know, right? It's hoenstly amazing how much better she was than Sakura even as a secondary character

>better
She was a big pile of nothing. Come on now.

>implying
Hinata was endgame before Sakura even exsisted.

Citation needed

Eh? No, Hinata was definitely a more interesting and likeable character. More so than Sakura, who was the most annoying and toxic woman in the cast. Let's be real, user

>Is he comparable to Kiba?
Yes?

According to Kishi, NaruHina was decided early on

>kept her in the spotlight
>had her do fuck all
MUH KEYCHAAAAAAAAIN

>more interesting
For what?

>and likeable character
Pretty easy when your personality is practically a blank slate.

>More so than Sakura, who was the most annoying and toxic woman in the cast.
That's subjective.

It’s one unironic crazed pinkshitfag, and then a bunch of normal anons who either like Sakura or don’t like her

Show me the arc where Kiba stared in.

People are drawn to characters who are nice, determined, insecure underdogs but headstrong when she needs to be, and not complete raging cunts

So Shikamaru has one, big deal. A side character with an arc is still a side character.

More like characters that don't take a lot of brainpower. And most "fans" of Hinata are just Naruto fans who like her for arm-candy. They wouldn't give a fuck about her if she didn't have a crush on him.

It is a big deal when you are trying to imply Shikamaru is equal to Kiba in relevance when that is blatantly false.

There are no characters who take “a lot of brain power” to like in this shit, you absolute mongoloid, you just have to have some redeeming qualities and not be a cunt

Are you ok in the head, user? Hinata's rivalry with Neji was great. And she's shown as a very determined woman in all of her fights. Going against immeasurable odds for the people she loves. Compare that to an aborrent and boring charcter like Sakura. Her rivalry with Ino only happens due to a boy she finds hot. And she doesn't even have a reson to like him! He tried to kill her multiple times and treated her like garbage! Honestly Sakura is such a bad role model and shitty character compared to Hinata. I guess that's why Naruto didn't end up with her

I never implied anything of the sort, I just called them both side characters, is that not a fact?

People tend to excuse Hinata for not having much to offer because of her limited screen time, while Sakura has all of the screen time in the world and does little with it

I think you're giving Kishi too much credit, but I do agree with the latter half of what you said. I think it's clear he half-assed it when it came to Sakura.

Sadly, you're right in a way. There are female characters (and characters in general in Naruto) that wind up being likeable and have massive potential, but Kishi's actual useage of them is blah. It still baffles me that he has a wife as he seems to outright struggle writing female characters as actual characters and not just "the obligatory team girl."

Also destroyed her own house when her daughter asked if she was actually her mother.

There is nothing to Hinata other than "She's shy and likes my self-insert." She's a low-thinking character.

>And she's shown as a very determined woman in all of her fights. Going against immeasurable odds for the people she loves.
You can apply that to almost every character in the series. Apparently Hinata doing the same is an achievement? Sounds like you just don't like character because of extreme biased. Probably because one is your waifu while the other isn't.

Hinata wouldn't have done anything with the spotlight if she had it.

Chestlet get out of here.

>Smashed the GROUND when her daughter was being rude and was demanding for classified information.
Nice job editing everything like you people always do.

>could have literally said
>Yeah I am your mother
Nigga really

>There is nothing to Hinata other than "She's shy and likes my self-insert."
Speedwatchers/readers were a mistake
>She's a low-thinking character.
There is literally nothing here that requires much thought

Personally I think both are alright. It bothers me more how underutilized (in the case of Hinata, having a slow buildup of mutual feelings between her and Naruto could have been incredibly sweet), or disappointing (how Sakura is rendered absolutely useless every time they fight Sasuke and other times, her endgame seems like a sad joke) they are handled. I see it less as "I hate this character" and more "I hate Kishi's writing, they deserved better"

Didn't she have a "LOL FUCK NARUTO CUZ HE'S AN ORPHAN" dialog at the beginning of the series? She was trash from the jump

>Smashed the GROUND
Why are you saying this as if it's an acceptable response for a grown adult with a child?

Konan?

Not that user but what if you are a "chestlet" and you prefer the other person to have the bigger boobs? Variety is the spice of life after all.

Not only that, but she said it to the OTHER orphan kid as a means to impress him.

>a highly skilled ninja who is a professional doctor, a war veteran, and the protege of a legendary ninja known for her physical prowess thought it was an appropriate response to use her strength to strike the ground next to both herself, her own daughter, and their house, all because the daughter made the grave mistake of asking about her father
Editing, eh?

Pretty much, but I thought it was clear from her expressions that she was just trying to be edgy/fit in around Sasuke (little did she know of course). Plus it was early in the manga so it was a pretty clear setup for character development. If she suddenly pulled that out in Shippuden it'd be more messed up than a 12-year-old saying it.

>try to make a character girls would love
>almost universally hated as a huge fucking cunt
>still has a massive fanbase of rabid self inserting fujos
honestly it sounds like he succeeded

Well women don't like girls that are too like them.

I never thought Sakura's personality was that much of an issue. She isn't exactly mature, but I always assumed her character arc would be growing out of that. The issue is that almost everything about her is anti-climactic as hell, so her character feels stagnant or even deteriorating as a result.

>If she suddenly pulled that out in Shippuden it'd be more messed up than a 12-year-old saying it.
Which is why most people's hatred for her was reaffirmed during her "confession".

I like both too but it’s unfortunate, Kishi had some pretty good opportunities to build up Naruto’s feelings for Hinata throughout the series but waited until the movie because he’s shit at romance by his own admission. Sakura should’ve had more to do with her screen time, at least the Sannin all felt like equals but she’s severely outmatched by Naruto and Sasuke.

Truly based, clever user

>If she suddenly pulled that out in Shippuden it'd be more messed up than a 12-year-old saying it.
I mean her behavior in Shippuden and even Gaiden isn’t that much better, she’s still prone to spergouts albiet for the most contrived of reasons

Imagine unironically liking sakura

Sakura, Hinata, Naruto, Boruto, it all ends the same way

There are no well written characters in ALL media. Most guys want a Beautiful Lie. So they want their female characters to be unrealistic loving loyal waifus who love a dude even if he's mediocre looking, poor, etc. This is NOT how women are.

On the other hand you have female characters like Sakura who is realistic in being a shallow whore hungry for handsome bad boy cock. The problem? No one in the Naruto universe treats her like the piece of shit that she is so she gets away with her bullshit.. Some writing and don't you dare say "Naruto said" Naruto is a faggot bitch boy loser motherfucker as written by Kishimoto the hack. Kishimoto writes his male characters like submissive masochistic losers who allow women to treat them like garbage. In Kishimoto's retarded brain the worst crime a man can commit is have self-respect when dealing with cunts. Which is why Naruto allows Sakura or that fat ugly nigger cunt to beat him up.

Yahooo

Attached: beachura.png (490x502, 126.42K)

Faggots always claim they like the other girls more, but they always make threads for Sakura.

>Hinata wouldn't have done anything with the spotlight if she had it.
You can assume this, but we know
Sakura had a lot of spotlight and didn’t do much with it so it’s a moot point

Oh I agree that was dumb as hell of her. Almost felt like Kishi filling a quota for the NaruSaku shippers ("here's Sakura looking like she's giving a confession, guys!"), because it was especially stupid. What I think could have been awesome is her doing something like that against Sasuke. Sure he doesn't give a damn about her, but it could've been badass. In hindsight now I wish her arc was about getting over Sasuke and just being happy on her own, because her end relationship with him is just depressing.

I'm glad it's not just me. Sometimes these threads make it seem like it's one side vs the other when there are people who like both.

I’m sure you’ve never made a Hinata thread

>how come Sakura got a happy ending?
Editor interference.
Don't you remember how Kishi was hinting that Karin was Sarada's real mother with the Gaiden?

Kishimoto was just baiting. Just like how he told you Tobi was "Madara".

>Sakura had a lot of spotlight and didn’t do much with it so it’s a moot point
Did any female character do anything worth remembering?

Attached: 1582043860802.jpg (444x510, 29.81K)

There are plenty of loser beta faggot simps in this world. This is why I always pray and encourage men to get married so that they inevitably endure an ugly divorce. Most men are simps so they need to be put through the GRINDER just to wake them up.

You see men are NOT logical animals. That is complete bullshit. With men you can tell them that water is wet but they will not believe you unless they try it themselves. Same with women, so you need to let these dumb bastards suffer and get burned. Always encourage a young man to jump into his own damnation.

I hated her since her fucking introduction when she shat on orphans. It never looked like she developed any empathy after that either.

Attached: sakura 2.png (750x1100, 78.41K)

Chiyo helped Sakura kill Sasori and saved Gaara before dying, and Tsunade did ... something. Can't remember.

I think Kishi might hate girls.

It’s because pinkshitfag gets especially defensive about Sakura and blames it on Hinatafags even though that waifu war died years ago. Hating Sakura has always been kind of a meme in the Naruto fanbase anyways, but people even hate Naruto and Sasuke so it’s hardly an issue that needs to be dragged out.

>People actually getting this assblasted by that scene
I never understood it. I also don't understand people's hatred for Sakura in general since she's such an insignificant nothing character...and in Part 2 she's literally filler-tier for the most part.

The scene was cringey at most as was Sakura trying to "kill" Sasuke.
