There's something about this series that just really clicks for me. I haven't liked a series this much in a long time. I think it's how Bakarina charmingly oafs her way into solving her problems through goodwill and hunger alone, all while believing she's digging her own grave.

Bakarina is my gateway to otome series, so it always has a special place in my heart. My otome manga/manhwa addiction has gone pretty severe recently all because I happened to stumble upon Bakarina like a month ago.
I like how she solves all the emotional issues and baggages of all the cast (none of them are trivial) without even realizing by just being her true self. That adds alot to her charm as a character.

No, but apparently you are. I'm all for reverting names to the originals when they HAVE an original (like キイス -> Keith), but in this case there isn't one. Jerod would be ジェロド and Gerard/Gerald would be ジェラルド or possibly ジェラール depending on the intended origin (i.e. Germanic or French sounding).
ジオルド doesn't have an original western version, and you don't get to pick a random name to replace it with just because you think it sounds awkward, dipshit. You are not the author.
