There are worse isekai than this user.

Well, at least a vending machine can be transported. Unlike an onsen.

not enough.

eh this not as bad and not that new

stuff like GATE, And Zippang exist plus in the west we have The final countdown (1980) and the 1632 series by eric flint, and Island in the sea of time

What has MC not isekai'd to yet?

inside you're mom

The part where the elf girl tells the hot spring to leave for trespassing made me drop this garbage.

Reality

There was one that isekai'd as the hero's mom
he was isekai'd as a loli that got taken by the fat ugly king to a rape dungeon and got preggers

Yes but not for shit like that
There are dozens of isekai that did it

What happened to the TLs?

Prove it

I have yet to see one where the truck driver gets isekai'd (along with his truck).

Actually that looks like a fine idea. I can think of some Solaris parody that might have some potential

The series got axed hard.

no fucking way

Second one please

It didn't get axed. It got guillotined.

Meh, I won't say it's the best isekai out there, but it's still readable for me. Maybe because I'm used to read trash.

Cool idea, poor implementation.
I like the idea of MC reincarnating into something that in certain aspects is extremely limited compared with a human being. Even if you give him OP cheats, he'll still "feel" somehow balanced.
...except they lifted those restrictions one by one.
No communication? No manipulation? No problem - now he can take a physical presence.
No mobility? No problem - put some onsen water in a bottle and his presence will be there.

But hey, bonus for making one of the big bads another person from Earth who isekai'd, and SHE IS NOT FROM TOKYO!

Enjoy. Or not.

Don't tell him about isekai pantsu

It was me! Guillotine-chan!

>MC ascends to daemonhood after suffering throughout the novel
Always pure literary bliss.

what series?

RIP countless isekai

I thought dragons are the main cause of isekais getting axed?

Attached: axed_09.png (1080x1536, 1.39M)

Thug hero party

Apotheosis of a Demon is pretty good. Sheldy a cute. I want to be her loyal demonic minion.

FUCK it was axed too soon. At least this one got a better ending than most.

What do you mean?

>MC is isekai'd as a literal porky pig

Attached: niku56.png (780x325, 137.96K)

>The Demon King is the hero
What is Disgaea and MGQ. I'll take "Shit that's been done better plenty of times" for 800, OP.

Hack artists need to chase trends, please understand.

You know what I really want to see in the next isekai?
>cheap, omnipotent, permanent slave crests exist that only slave traders use
>demonlord starts putting it on everyone he encounters
>everyone: le pikachu face

>when the author just dies in the middle of serialization

Attached: 鬼八頭かかし passed away.jpg (706x1000, 390.9K)

how about an isekai where the MC are not granted OP abilities/mana and have to cheese his way to success?

How about an isekai where the MC abbandons his humanity to gain power, eventually ending up as a monster? Sort of like a reverse Isekai where the mc starts out as a monster and ends up as a human.

How about an isekai where the MC is actually gay for his best bro but still has a girl harem anyway?

Sierra Leone

How about an isekai where the MC is not the protagonist?

>what is Level 99 Goblin

What are

Not isekai but could literally be one - Goblin Slayer

If the truck gets Isekai'd, how would he Isekai others?

Why do cultivation or reincarnation do over always have fake nice guy MC? MC is just normal guy but after started cultivation less than 10 chapter he already killed a guy and rob him of his possessions without remorse, also after another 20 chapters kill guys because they look at MC funny?
The worst was when I got baited like pic related.

That's just a native isekai

I honestly think Japanese people have no empathy. Asians just seem to be insectoids in general. Just look at how every isekai manga treats the subject of slavery.

Why would killing some random retard affect you in any way? I don't understand why americans complain about this shit.

>Just look at how every isekai manga treats the subject of slavery.
They acknowledge that it's bad in their place and time in history, but it isn't considered inherently repugnant outside of their place and time in history?
And that the ones who do take them, do not engage in what is conventionally thought to have happened to slaves?

they're basically just sorry that they got caught, japs are the worst of all

just get rid of shit ass roles like demon king and hero and make it about the fantasy adventure
there, i fixed 70% of isekai

MC from a generic rom-com gets isekaied to reality.
Rest of the manga is a photo story.

Go away, Yas Forums

He drives around parallel worlds isekai-ing protagonists to other worlds like a vehicular manslaughter based inter-dimensional taxi service.

They call him... The Shuffler.

Meta isekai is unfunny and uninteresting.
It's enough material for a few gags then it's stuck doing what it was suppose to be mocking.
The best isekai goes in one of two directions.
It either does fantasy-adventure with an imaginative fleshed out world the author didn't completely rip from DQ. Where the plot is derived from shit going on in the world.
Or it goes the comedy route, where the world is a background for colourful characters to interact in funny ways. The plot is something inherently funny.
The meta isekai always tries to be the comedy isekai but fails, because it's jokes run out, but also because it's necessary for the background to be bland for the funny characters to stand out and meta isekai is stuck making fun of the background.

>It's enough material for a few gags then it's stuck doing what it was suppose to be mocking.
This is my issue with almost all meta stories. OPM, I'm looking at you.

The chinese are the worst for it, that's because china is one grim dark dystopian nightmare simulator though.

>mfw found out half the country earns two dollars a day or less

No, it's cheap indulgence fuel.
I used to hate that they never finished but then warlock of the magus world came to an end and I got mad.

I stopped at chapter 770~ because I smelled the bullshit that's gonna come right after and said "this is a fine ending" and called it a day.

>that image
Holy shit that meme is prehistoric

The truck gets reincarnated as a cute girl and has to deal with a bunch of people who are angry about being isekai'd.

Would you a loli with two heads?

>Why yes, I like MILF's, how could you tell?

Attached: 438PGGU.jpg (492x700, 318.41K)

These are good ideas. What if the MC gets isekai'd and becomes the truck?

The big hurdle that japanese isekai struggles with that other nations "hero in another world" stories get right is simple. Not enough effort is invested into setting up the life our protagonist comes from on their way to the new one. As an easy example take Futurama, we see fry's neighbourhood, his family, his job and his general attitude to life. at the turn of the 21st century we are given a clear understanding of who he is and from our understanding of him can our understanding of the fantastical elements of the 31st century be understood. This can be applied to a lot of fiction not just the brain dead format of "hero gets sucked to rpg land". A New Hope spends a large portion of its runtime on tatooine. in getting to understand tatooine we understand our shoe in character; luke and thus through him we can see the rest of the star wars universe with fresh eyes. The Hobbit/lord of the rings is much the same with the shire, though it is still in middle earth; its effectively a whole other world. In understanding the simple life of our hobbits is the grand adventure put into context.

So thats a lot of rambling but how do isekai handle this, what is the life of naofumi before becoming the shield hero? what relationships does he have? what is his life like? He has a brother we never see but thats about it. Re:Zero, konosuba, overlord. Where do our protagonists come from? what is their life like?. Theres no investment in understanding what he comes from. The gelatinous hero of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime does the bare minimum of introducing a single friend from his previous life but thats it. No reason to leave. no reason to return. Nothing.

Which is a shame because a lot of compelling writing can be born simply from being split between two worlds. From never being able to return home to normalcy. Its basic story telling that seems to be forgotten in favour of shitting these things out as quickly as possible.

Tell me this has a manga version
