Ainz has been training hard everyday since he met Clementine and she show him how weak he was as a warrior. PDL Armor is now the next best thing Ainz could wish for as a real live training target.

Why would Ainz even bother even letting PA goes into combat? Especially since the guy is needed as Momon to keep the peace while Nazarick declare war on the kingdom. The whole point of Ainz training hard with Wrath and the maids is to fight in the front against a real warrior. PDL Armor vs Ainz is 100%

Most likely a crypt lord being marionetted by Ainz. He’s probably only there for the volume cover. Crypt lords are level 70 undead so that would probably be a decent matchup power-level wise to PDL’s armor.

The only reason he gave the guardians, bar Sebas, World Class Items is simply because of their property to negate the effects of other World Class Items. Ainz also carries one around (the red orb in his rib age). He’s being wary knowing there’s a mind-control WCI in the new world.
