When something is uploaded to a private tracker the tracker will announce it in IRC. Autodl-irssi will idle in the IRC announce channel and begin downloading the second it gets uploaded. It is an event based system rather than polling an RSS feed. It won't work on public trackers though since they don't have IRC announces.

I stream. Using Plex, that is. Give me something with a similar quality - and I will switch.
