I'll be honest, it's a byproduct of SIF, where I'd just learn the first names of the cards. Whereas Emma is western (individual, then family name) and Kanata had to be separated from her sister, I knew her as Osaka, and that sorta stuck. It's not a bad name, worked for Azumanga.
