No, it was kino.

I don't know, I only read the originals. Are the Clowns the final villains of :re? They seemed to control everything.

it became more and more kino, until the end got rushed like the beaches of normandy. Also it got too much of a n optimistic and happy end in my opinion

Yeah but I feel like the set up for them being the antagonists was really shit. The whole final arc completely lacked reasonable character motivations and pacing.

I'm still mad we didn't get to see post timeskip Amon and Mado. Also too many meaningless characters.

What happened to that "V" organization? Were they important too? They seemed to be like the shadow elite in the original series.

No, it's just Furuta.

It was good until around volume 8 or so then it became absolute garbage.

the clowns and furuta were fighting together

It's garbage from start to finish. Only entertaining thing about it was to watch the fanbase going from "it's not shit! Ishida is setting up something great! Look at the clues, you just don't get it!" to fucking imploding.

Can we at least all agree that his art peaked with volume 8? The story and art takes a nose dive after that

General consensus is that Rose arc was peak in terms of character growth and storytelling, it was pure soul

they were too irrelevant to be considered the final villains

The best part were the interviews that came later where Ishida admitted that at som point he startes to hate working on his own series.

>SUBVERTED EXPECTATIONS, KINO HURR DURR
You're all fucking mongs and we warned you idiots that it was shit, at this point people are either trolling or too deep in the mud to admit RE was a trainwreck.

Tokyo Ghoul was never good to begin with.

kinda, it is more complicated then it. You should just read it

>Muh trainwreck
Suck a dick, fag. You weren't here when threads reached 1k posts during its peak, people couldnt handle the kino

V and clowns were played like a fiddle by MR Party

It was great all the way through.

No they are barely in the manga, and in the end, i shit you not, uta renji and itori befriend again after renji kicked his ass, like in naruto vs sasuke
The only clown who matter is furuta who is the cancer of the manga
He is a clown, an half ghoul, a children of the garden, a wushu, a ccg, a V

Utaren was the OTP

>Hurrhurr numbers
Emofaggot detected, let me guess: you think JB is a good musician as well.

>not being able to handle the kino
Not even Ishida could handle his own manga, it's why it crashed and burned so hard.

OG TG was a consistent 8/10 with few ups and down, the ending however cemented it as a 10/10

:Re started slow but was far from being bad, it just did more world building at the beginning. From the end of Rosewald arc up until the first part of Cochlea, it's easily as good as Part 1 if not better. Then its all downhill from there

From the start of of Rose arc*

Also, Haise was underappreciated on Yas Forums

>More buzzwords
Cope.

Man, the final arc and the ending of the original Tokyo Ghoul is one of the best things I've ever read. The Kaneki vs Arima fight is kino.

Of course he was, the TG fanbase is crawling with edgy teens who wanted White Kaneki back at any cost.

Unironically Haise is the best Kaneki's been on RE with him only getting worse and worse after going red.

Go back to deviantart fag.

These are literally my exact opinions. Part 1 is a masterpiece in my mind, even though the ending of re: took away from a lot of the foreshadowing in it. I really wish ishida just left the series alone when he lost his ambition for it. He completely ruined the series with that incredibly incoherent and sloppy ending.

I liked Haise and the original Qs more than the Anteiku crew desu.

The sheer kino and emotions I've felt reading the final chapters together with Yas Forums is something I will never forget. I think Ishida just grew out of his edgy phase, changed his outlook on life and just in general was less depressed at some point during :Re serialization, and that made him follow through with this more light-hearted ending.

It was until Eto book reveal and Black Reaper Kaneki turning out to be the biggest bitch of all Kanekis.
And it was also the start of Touka and her family thicker-than-MCs-plot-armour

This is pretty much perfectly put. I still feel Ishida could have put some more focus on the characters established in the original when he went into :Re but other than that, it was solid until Arima died.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I love Kaneki.

That one moment was sweeter than anything else that happened with the guys at anteiku. The beginning of re: is easily the best part of Tokyo Ghoul.

Edgy and a cringefest.
In other words, it's garbage.

I would really appreciate the "the world just is" optimistic ending if Ishida actually remembered this plotline and did not hamfist it at the very last few pages.

/thread
The rest are just retarded contrarians or animeonlies who never read the manga/started reading after aogiri arc

It died together with Arima.

I was talking about the og ending user. The last good threads during :Re was when Kaneki turned into dragon and the chapters before that

If I liked Tokyo Goul will I like Tokyo Ghoul re:? I am stupid and cannot make decisions for myself.

PARTY

I still don't understand how furuta knew that he can bring by Rize by creating dragon. What even is dragon? I feel really stupid about it because apparently it makes sense to most fans.

I only read half and it was pretty enjoyable, but I read that it goes downhill from that point on. Haise is pretty based.

Tokyo Ghoul is infinitely better than Tokyo Ghoul re:. You can still check it out if you want but you may feel like it was a waste of time by the end of it.

Sure

It's pretty much canon too

Sasako is hotter than like 90% of the girls in TG.

BE THE BECOME

The first two thirds were amazing, average quality was higher than TG and the peaks were just as high, it fizzles out slowly over the final third until the last 10 or so chapters where it starts to feel like a wounded animal waiting to be put down.

How many bait threads is it now ? It's good but it falters in the ending stages. At least it has never fallen to the level of cancer the threads exhibited.

Unironically I've been waiting for a new manga by Ishida since 2018. Just miss the art and characters man

I really liked TG and would even do gay stuff like color in black and white fan art like this when TG was running
RE however was complete shit from the begining. I never liked any of the new Qs and I thought it was fake and gay how Kanekis friends and new family just sad fuck it let him live brain washed with the investigators.

>pic related
no wonder you have such a shit opinion

Objectively correct.

fuck off furatatranny

It was good until Kuroneki showed up, then it became mediocre. It was downright awful at some points after Rose arc, too.

>Look at the clues, you just don't get it!"
Kek
A lot of those retards that got BTFO are still TG fans too.

don't even like the guy but nice cope

threads were great
