How close are we to the timeskip?
Boku no Hero Academia
We got too cocky bros...
Ewwww mha
If it doesn't happen after this arc then it wont happen at all.
Deku has a deeper voice when narrating the anime, a timeskip is obviously gonna happen.
After Shigaraki and Twice wreck the shit out of the heroes and take over japan in this arc
who dis?
Um.... BASED?!
Do you think we will get to the point where Deku catches up to the point from where he's telling the story and we see the rest without his narration? I don't see that happening, or at least not without some sort of rebranding and serious developments to the story.
>He missed the fact that there was already a 3 month 1 week time skip.
There aren't going to be bigger ones in this, its my hero *Academia*after all. Hori is going to cram everything possible into their school years.
Please Cloverchads don't bully us
Dead hype
Dead manga
1 year timeskip doesn't seem too farfetched
Shippuden start at ch 245 so it could happen soon
desu i feel like the timeskip will happen after all might dies
There won't be one. The villains got fucked and the whole mood of the arc tells me Shiggy will at most cripple Endeavor and a few other Pros but be beaten in the end or escape, but villains at large are gonna lose and society will stay safe, so no timeskip.
>after months of prep time villains will lose
Not this again. How come the villains aren't allowed to be competent for once?
There has to be a point where shit hits the fan for the heroes and this arc could be where it happens.
I don't have it on me but I remember an interview years ago where he said he didn't want to have a big time skip because he felt like if he did that he'd have to end the series and start a sequel where they're adults. Or something along those lines. He wants readers to see as much of their school life as possible.
>I am forgotten
I don't think Endeavor's redemption arc will get anywhere if he's crippled. Most likely he will suffer the weight of being number one for a long time, and after all of that at some point later will get killed/crippled. Right now is just not the appropriate time for such a thing.
the only other possibly route would be going for the Todoroki avenger arc, but that's stupid and I hope doesn't happens. The series already made that point with Ida anyways.
Sounds about right, in its essence its a shounen school manga. People crying for a timeskip or important students dying have completely missed what they are reading.
Yeah I thought this would be the arc where shit hits the fan but after seeing all highends getting instantly btfo with no effort I doubt it will happen.
My only hope is if the villains get arrested at least we might get a prison break.
Things can't be sunshine and rainbows all the time. The heroes should face major consequences at one point.
I miss Stain
Blame Hori but not the villains. They didn't actually get valid prep time, since they got attacked out of nowhere on their daily routine. Ujiko needs time to activate his stuff, so getting raided invalidated all of his experiments. Even Shigaraki is at just 70%, which might be the reason the Heroes will defeat him. He'll be supremely overpowered but still not at 100% so that's a good excuse for Hori to make him lose.
And the Liberation Front were just watching TV or whatever at the mansion when suddenly it gets destroyed by an organized army and attacked from the inside by Hawks. Skeptic is trying to organize the troops but we can't expect them to do well when getting ganked by Pro Heroes.
Of course, something bad WILL happen to the heroes since this looks a lot like Kamino when the Pro Heroes raid the bar and AFO shows up.
Pehaps AFO shows up AGAIN? We know he can leave Tartarus whenever he wants to. It'd be boring to repeat that, but he's the only wild card left.
Shiggy and Gigantomachia can't carry this alone
realistically what are the chances hori completely cucks deku and writes bakugo getting both OfA and ochako at the end? I'd say about 60%
Obviously, but again its a bog standard shounen, deaths happen but quite often it will be characters introduced to die like Nighteye.
The most impactful will probably be known pro heroes like All Might or Hawks and Villains.
Do you think doc has more cute small nomu sidekicks?
I've been catching up with the manga where I left off months ago. Who the fuck is John Chan? That shit looks sick.
>Of course, something bad WILL happen to the heroes since this looks a lot like Kamino when the Pro Heroes raid the bar and AFO shows up.
Maybe you're right but villains (both Shiggy's and liberation fuckers) look like complete fools right now especially after all the drama and character growth during the my villain academia arc.
With the Kamino raid at least there was an excuse with LoV being complete amateurs.
After the movie, about 80%. And only because there is a great chance Bakugou will become the number 1 hero through his own effort and without external help.
Nah the truth is that Hawks and Miruko wanking ruined the arc. Thanks to them the rest of the pro-heroes and students got cucked out of doing anything interesting. Why even bring them along
wtf
You think so? I mean Miruko is Top 10 and the Nomus are weakened, even so it looks like she will die or get (further) crippled by the time Crust arrives.
And Hawks' only claim to fame will be taking out Twice at most, I don't see him surviving any more.
im gonna COOOOM
Were gonna time skip through their second year at least. Or they do the whole Deku drops out and becomes a vigilante.
They're already the strongest at the whole school on their first year, having them go through a 2nd year would feel pointless. Just skip to them being recognized and working as Pros like the old Big Three.
After the timeskip will it get worse story wise?
>Deku drops out and becomes a vigilante
Unless the hero side goes full villain, Deku is not the type of character to become a vigilante.
There's a chance, yes. I always talk about wanting them "going on missions like Pros" but the Yakuza arc was mostly boring. Hori still needs to write a good story and fun characters... we'll see about that in the next weeks
I mean it seems like the entire hero system is gonna collapse. So they're either gonna become vigilantes or they'll start going on missions and stuff as students.
Leauge of Villains are gonna take over the government and shut down the hero system. Essentially making illegal to be a hero.
either deku becomes an actual hero, hated and feared by the world he protects, or he goes on a road trip across the world learning how to super hero better.
>seems like the entire hero system is gonna collapse
not really.
When will the bullying end!
Was it not literally said at the beginning of this arc that the hero's get fucked?
>Essentially making illegal to be a hero.
There is always the option of joining the police, so things would not change much. In fact, the world would be better if the heroes are absorbed by the police.
>league of villains taking over anything after the buffoonery in recent chapters
kek no
Police are explicitly not allowed to use their quirks to fight crime.
speed reader, the heroes disappeared from the streets because they are busy attacking the villains.
Do you honestly believe that after the villains already got curbstomped?
Well shit maybe I misread that. Seemed more sinister to me.
This is so romantic
It's not cucking if you love the person.
Without heroes fighting criminals with quirks, it is obvious that the police will have to be restructured. No one will want to fight criminals with only firearms no matter how powerful guns are.
So I did some more studying of these past few chapters and I've finally put together my theory on BNHA's quality.
Deku is a terrible fucking character and his existence drags down the manga as a whole.
Considering they'll probably drop all pretense of there being any sort of "academia" completely yeah.
