what's he reading?

So which movie you wish they remake? My is the Dinosaur Knight. Also the Three Swordman one, that one fit right into the Isekai crave right now.

Nothing can beat Kingdom of Clouds, best story ever imo
Reading it back then feel like watching a Ghibli movie

I prefer the Genesis Insect Kingdom one.

This is now a Shizuka's feet thread.

Who was in the wrong in this series

The mice

Only if all chapters get translated! I'm lucky i got to watch it at a younger age unlike americunts.

Nobita

Shizuka for not letting Nobita see her naked.

my first fap when i was 12

Nah, Doraemon and nobuta : legend of the sun king literally better.

The best movie is the Galaxy Express, prove me wrong

Didn’t mean to quote but whatever
Also the one where they fight demons and make magic real was neat. The scene where Doraemon and Nobita run into their petrified selves in the dark hallway freaked me out as a kid

Nobita, always.

The alien invasion plots kinda seem unnecessary. It would be better if it just a joy ride explode the stars and the theme parks. I prefer the Pirate one.

I dunno I enjoyed the part where Suneo and the theme park staff got mind controlled, it was like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Also the part where the theme park got thrown into chaos and all the robots went berserk

I think Nobita and Robot Kingdom also good

>Dekisugi lost
Name bigger asspull in history.

Are you me?

The best one is the underwater kingdom camping thing and dorabian nights

It's been a while since I watched Doraemon, but I watched the 2018 one the other day. The plot development seemed like a mess, was it always like this or was that one of the bad ones? They didn't resolve anything, they literally just made a lot of ridiculous demands to the dad "Please save the future, but you can't use this solution you spent years to come up with, and you need to spend more time with your kids, kthx" And he just leaves in smiles like everything is resolved, what the fuck?

I really liked the one where they go on a train in space.

>dad literally killing the planet for muh dead wife
>even abandoning his own children
>they beat common sense back to him and set everything back on track
It's not that difficult

What would they mass produce robots like Doraemon in the future?
Nigger is perfectly capable of world destruction with his gadgets

Why didn't the time police stop Nobita's attempts to change the past?

nothing is on track, the future is still fucked and now they expect him to solve that and spend time with the kids at the same time

Awe FUCK yeah.

They do mass product robot like Doraemon in the future.
>Why didn't the time police stop Nobita's attempts to change the past?
Changing your grade or buying a toys aren't important chance to the course of human history.

>They do mass product robot like Doraemon in the future
Why would*

Gay thread.

Bump

I have been reading manga for 20 years now and Doraemon still remains the best manga ever for me. Is this just nostalgia?

>lost
Dekisugi married a hot foreigner scientist who is much more beautiful, intelligent and wealthy than Shizuka.

Yep that was bullshit
Dekisugi should've won the Nobitabowl unlike that bitch Shizuka.

Giant and Suneo for bullying Nobita.

How popular is Doraemon in western countries? I'm from South East Asia so naturally its huge here. If I remember correctly USA only got Doraemon this past few years?
I always got soft spot for Birth of Japan and Drifts in the Universe.
Yeah, maybe I did grow up but I kinda dislike muh dindu nuffin villains. The 2019 movie one is better.

Just kill yourself my man Nobita

Is there a compilation of all the girl fart scenes in this show? If not, I'm gonna make one

I remember reading the spin-offs (pic related) back then. It was quite fun, a lot more action oriented and probably the closest thing to a battle shonen spin-off for Doraemon franchise. Doraemon himself largely relegated to minor supporting character though he does become the main protagonist (sort of) in the last three books if I am not wrong.

damn i grew up on him

I like the Russian werewolf one the most

Oh man, Knights on Dinosaurs was super cool; those giant floating ship phasing through the earth scenes was super awesome as a child.
Also not a movie, but Night Before a Wedding was amazing too: youtube.com/watch?v=NVTQas51ufI

it's sad how slow Doraemon thread on Yas Forums is

How was the Moon Exploration movie? Actually, I want to watch some of the later films but I don't know which to pick.

My favorite scene was the seige battle, seeing the knights ride dinosaur into battle is pretty cool

>How popular is Doraemon in western countries
It got banned in most of western countries, i think

Probably because of

The series is too old for average Yas Forumsnons.

How was it supposed to end really? I saw a few rumors but didn't know what was true.

Doraemon is super popular in even the puritan Vietnam. They just censor the naked body and that's it.

It never end. There no official ending for the manga. The author did try to end it one but it too popular.

authors died before finishing so anything you heard is non-canon

>Hattori
It's shit. "Everything is a ninjutsu" is stupid as fuck. Can't ski? there's a ninjutsu for that. Can't draw? There's a ninjutsu for that. Oh you're a psychic sentient cactus? Then you're a ninja too lol. It's stupid.
Doraemon > P-man > Mami > Bakeru-kun > 21-emon > Mojako > Q-taro > shit >>> Hattori
Also Fujiko F >>>> Fujiko A

anyone here can literally tell which stories were not written by Fujiko Fujio, even as a kid? the art was identical but somehow the feeling was just not the same

Luckily it's an episodic series. Imagine Oda die in the middle of OP.

>Everything is a ninjutsu
and that's different to "Everything is tech from the future lmao" somehow?

P-man was nice, have a weird bittersweet ending. One of character in P-Man actually show up in Doraemon.

It was supposed to end when Doraemon went back to the future and Nobita manned the fuck up and stopped relying on him.
But the series was proven to be too popular so Doraemon came back and the story continued,

I love the Tin Labyrinth one for some reason

I heard from somewhere that the real original ending is just like in Stand By Me movie where Doremon left after Nobita sleeping but he never come back. The whole sequence about lying potion was made up so publisher can keep milking the franchise

Sumire right? She's a teenage idol and most of Nobita's gang and school mates are fans of her.

I remember one chapter where Sumire met with Doraemon and Nobita and she told him that she has a picture in a locket of a boy she likes that has gone to faraway place, which heavily implied that it's Mitsuo/P-man's picture.

The Wiki said his last work was Galaxy Express, volume 16. However his influence kinda linger till volume 20 , Legend of the Sun King. The last 4 ( winged braves, robot kingdom, windmaster and Cat dog Kingdom) seem to be the one that least influence by him and it showed.

Weird. My version she seem to be an adult at that point.

Why don't Yas Forums talk more about this? It's absolutely fantastic to read even as an adult.
