Railgun SS3 was still the best recent side-story for me, but I liked the fight with the beginning child and Ayu's depression portions were decent for someone with her mentality. I felt the last two chapters of Biohacker made up for the rather lackluster battles (imho) of the previous chapters.

Going back to Biohacker, I'm pleasantly surprised that my prediction of Rikuri and Amazora being killed or otherwise horribly injured didn't come to pass, but that still leaves open the question of what happened to them.

Ayu's design was the initial plan for Mental Out. But Loli Misaki was probably designed by Fuyukawa and then used in NT11.

Touma had just failed to save a “middle school girl with mental powers” and then he gets an instant repeat with Misaki. As a reminder, even with Amazora he completely crumbles and behaves like a kind Onii-chan, now imagine how much doting Misaki received.
It’s also pretty obvious that Misaki got her “whistle to dab” toy as a direct result of Ayu’s case, Touma failed to find her in the mountains, lost his phone and had no ways to communicate.

I remember from NT11 she mentioned she filled her uniform with rocks and she "died" that day but that isn't really making sense to me. Seria can implement psychological manipulation to get people do what she wants and it's suppose to be on par with Misaki. Even Misaki says it is. She assumed Seria was the one targeting her in NT11.

According to Mikoto in Railgun, both she and Misaki were Level 1's starting out. I wonder since now more and more level 5's are cropping up that we might actually get a backstory on how they progressed to level 5.

That might actually give some weight to the entire "Parameter List" stuff.

Mikoto herself said that Tokiwadai's level 5's both started out as level 1's. Misaki probably manipulated people so that the media focuses more on Mikoto, keeping herself in the shadows or something.
