And truth be told when I was making this last night I could not find the LN links for that scene so I just figured it didn't exist outside of a large mega file download so i linked the WN version in stead.

There's two options which turn into one. Summary user and Translation Chicken. The difference is that Summary user favored speed (translated 1600 pages, 660000 words in 6 months!) and Translation Chicken was a snail and favored quality/polish. Generally you'd want to read the more polished one, translation chicken but his translations don't start at the right spot and also skip a chapter for some reason. So you read Summary user's Arc 3 interlude and then swap over to Translation Chicken's Arc 4 and then switch over Summary user again after TC presumably died in a car accident. What I personally do is read Summary user all the way but that's just me.

Summary user starts at interlude I, TC starts at interlude II which is completely wrong.

Even though you have watched the anime, I'll still recommend you to read the LN at least Vol 3 through Vol 7, It actually isn't that bad as I made it seem (until vol 8) and you get most of the things the anime left out and also able to get a better perspective on Subaru's character which is vital

I have to disagree with your opinion of TC vs SA. After some side by side comparisons of SA, TC, and the Raws. TC is far too much of literal translation in places, some of the liberties SA takes makes the it come off better in english.
