I was worried it would affect Shinohayu, but Igarashi reassured us that it wasn't a problem.
Because the main Saki manga moves so slowly, it sometimes feels like Shinohayu is the main series. Maybe having Achiga back will balance out the pace and help Ritz work faster.

A beautiful but mathematically impossible end: Satoha tsumo, with everybody's score returning back to exactly 100,000. This resembles Saki's +/- zero trick from the beginning of the manga, and triggers a Teru flashback. The revived Achiga manga continues with the sergeant's match while all of the Miyanaga secrets are revealed.

Should she ron Teru, then Achiga ends up first, Rinkai second, and Teru Time third. Should she ron Kuro, Rinkai ends up second, Teru Time first, Tacos third and Achiga fourth. I know which result I want.

More theory: In the current plotline, Niemann controls Rinkai, and is using Rinkai to get revenge against Ai by defeating Shiraitodai/Teru and Kiyosumi/Saki.
Teru and Saki foil Niemann's plans by secretly throwing the match to Achiga.
This ends the bitter Lotta/Ai feud, but starts a new Nodoka/Saki feud, since Nodoka is forced to move to Tokyo with her father and join... Rinkai?
The cycle of greed vs. tanoshii enters a new generation. Saki and Nodoka become dueling pros, and the manga continues for 100 years.
