My hypothesis is that he is a chill devil like angel, who bears no ill will against humans, and fujimoto twist would be that the killings were a sacrifice in which he saved humanity from a greater calamity. Maybe if fujimoto goes full filmtard as with STARWARS, the calamity could be the chainsaw devil after the premier of texas chainsaw massacre. And there you go, why Jaws (1975) looks so highly on chainsaw boy (1974)
So Makima and the rest might be looking for gun to prevent a new tragedy that could unfold in the future. All of this caused by a Jew devil controlled Hollywood.
