Has an anime ever made you cry Yas Forums?
Has an anime ever made you cry Yas Forums?
Renge always makes my dick cry.
Yeah
No.
Anime is cartoons and only weak men cry over drawings.
I cried when Hanyuu, my daughter got sexualized in Higurashi
also 2020:
>NNBY 3
>gochiusa 3
>redo of higurashi
>corona
this is the best year in the history of man
yes
when candy lady teaches Renge how to ride a bike.
most recently, ID Invaded
The story dude
It doesn't take much for me to cry. So yes.
I think Angel Beats made me genuinely tear up
Yes
Yes. For example when Greed died at the end of Brotherhood.
This as well. I'll always love SAO.
Either children or women.
Yes a lot of times, it's mostly the music that does it.

That scene in Re:Zero where Subaru jumps off a cliff while screaming that he loves everyone.
>not being a little girl
>Either children or women.
Fuck you it's heartbreaking
Short answer: Yes
Long answer: SEEEEEEE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Many have managed to make me teary-eyed, but less than a handful have had me full-on crying, and of them only Naruto has done it several times. Pic related got me the worst, it's shameful isn't it.
In a pic related kind of manner, yes.
>falling for Okada's cheap tricks
Watch more anime.
Grave of the Firefly did it for me.
I don't really cry watching anything, I just get a few tears in my eyes.
Times thats happened:
- Non Non Biyori - Honoka Episode
- Non Non Biyori - Flatty-san episode
- Non Non Biyori S1 - Ren-chon's intro to the village
- Non Non Biyori Movie - Nattsun crying at the end
- Aria The Avvenire - Caught me completely off-guard, went in expecting a new OP as had been previewed but when Akari takes Ai out and Undine starts to play instead, that put a ball in my throat and I could already guess what was going to happen next, when it got to pic related there were already tears in my eyes.
Gunbuster
Lately more than a few years ago, so yes, but the most I cried was probably Clannad After Story. Pretty basic and I was never nearly as invested in the characters as in some other shows, but somehow it still made my cry to see them suffer.
I havent cried since I was 9 because I'm not a fag lmao

This scene in Welcome to the NHK really upset me. When you realise that after everything the angel that was supposed to save Sato was actually even more fucked up and blackpilled than he was, it really hurts.
>not a fag
Whatever helps you sleep at night.
The last animated pokemon movie (The power of us) had this extremely sad scene where a Snubbull dies in an explosion. I don't know what it was about it but I started sobbing in the theater and kinda am now from just watching the clip.
start the clip at 1min. its a dumb tribute meme but the only clip of it i can find.
Ill admit I do miss the warmth of a large, smelly man hugging me at night sometimes
You're late, Mittermeyer.
Yes.
I don't have an image related to it but that got me so hard.
If you replace 'large, smelly man' with 'beloved neesama' then you've just described what has been making me cry recently.
almost
Is Chaika's anime as cute as her?
Toward the Terra did.
Grave of the Fireflies, and Kaiba ep3
its cliche but when pikachu almost died in pokeyman the movie
Chaika novel is the best for world building BUT is only words and a couple of awesome drawings, chaika manga (i think it have one) is a shorter adventure of Chaika i think is cute too but no voice, and the anime is great because of Chaika but the second season feels too rushed and short
Also i wish this one had a long OVA about the emperor wars rather than a fanservice episode.
You and me both
Stein's Gate when Okabe was breaking down while trying to save Mayuri fucking choked me, I actually had to stop so I could wipe away my tears. That sense of desperation when a character is struggling to do something always gets to me.
...
She got aids
YES
Violet evergarden ep 10
Teresa was literally perfection.
Yes
exhentai.org
This did.
Yes, I unironically think the last 5 or so minutes of episode 26 is the single greatest moment in all of fiction.
Lucky star episode 22
A few times, but my memory is kinda hazy, so don't expect anything solid.
First time an anime ever made me cry was Sword Art Online at the end of the first season, during the pseudo rape of Asuna. Laugh if you want, but I was 13 at the time, and with it being heavier than anything the west could produce for young teens, I couldn't help myself. But now, I wouldn't feel a thing for that.
Second was probably during the mid-point of Re:zero, when Rem got turned into twirly-whirly sweets.
Also, for the one I really care about, Kamina's death hit me pretty hard, as did every subsequent death in Gurren Lagann.
only clannad and clannad after story
Literally any time a cute girl cries. I wish I was joking.
Lots. Some it's just watery eyes, others are a few tears, and others are full on sobbing. I am emotionally dead except when it comes to anime and to a lesser extent manga because I find it really easy to relate to fictional characters for some reason.
If the haruhi movie didn't make you cry, you have no soul
Also the end point of Sakamoto was enough to bring a tear to my eye. For such a funny show that consistently landed it's jokes, that ending basically hit me out of left field.
Yeah I'm always crying up a storm. I think I'm addicted.

You are dead inside, that it's not the same
>anohana
Nigga what
All the goddamn time.
When I was 14 and i watched Asuka die I had a little cry.
Are you serious? That's like the first crycore anime that gets mentioned whenever this stuff gets brought up.
