I don't really know how to put it into words, but this chapter feels very... rushed? Or maybe disconnected?

We're on the Oro Jackson, boom now we're back on Wano but its a flashback from before the fight, boom now its post-fight, boom now we're in Kuri.
Pic related: What the fuck happens here? Panel 2, she's holding the kids. Panel 3/4, some fight happened, Momo is gone. Panel 5, Kaido has Momo. Why the sudden skip between panels 2 -> 3/4? Just off-screen the fight completely and suddenly Momo isn't with his Mom but with Kaido.
2 pages later, Kaido flies out of the castle. On his way out we already see the castle on fire. Why didn't we get a panel of him actually putting the castle on fire?
Next page, why is the actual time travel bit off-screened?
Toki leaves just up and leaves the burning castle to go to Bakura??? And boom suddenly we're at Orochis place. And boom suddenly we're with Kawamatsu. No nevermind now we're with Denjiro. And boom now we're back in the capital. And boom now we're 20 years ahead.

Last chapters of flashbacks often looks kinda like this, serving as sort of a flashback epilogue, or more like a bridge between the central tragedy and the present. The difference is that usually they have 2-3 characters to follow so it doesn't feel this disconnected. And this Momo bit feels very random after he got next to none focus throughout the flashback.

So, what am I supposed to understand about DenjiroKyoshiro? Maybe it's because I kinda speedread this flashback and my interest was lacking, but it seems pretty random. Even though I called it I didn't really believe it.
What the fuck is he even doing? Why did he stop talking to the other scabbards? Why is he Ushimitsu when he has literally tons of subordinates who could be Ushimitsu for him? I don't get it. I don't get a lot of things. And I liked the idea of Toko being Ushimitsu better. Thought I have to admit he looks good when he's angry, the fact that he's sleepy because he goes out at night is rather neat. It could be enough but somehow it isn't. Maybe because it's rushed or I speedread, I dunno.

You can have a single chapter story that feels dragged and 40 that feel rushed. It doesn't matter. What matters is the content to space ratio. This flashback would need double the space to be told competently.
