The entire series was unironically too realistic, mature, and quality for Yas Forums to comprehend. The only real flaw is that characters weren't fleshed out enough and that led to a lot of wasted potential.

:re is a misunderstood masterpiece.
the van gogh of manga.
Let's not forget how Yas Forums was divided on Furuta either fanboying over him without caring about his character or hating him for being a Gary Stu when his character is one of the most well written and relatable in all of manga.
it went from god-tier to utter shit after furuta defeating eto, for some reason i still fail to grasp fully
The OEK and dragon stuff was just slapped together, plot holes and dropped plot lines. Ishida said he became depressed and just wanted to end it already. You can tell it starts to take a nosedive after the first 30 chapters.
TG was great, just headcannon that it ended with Kanekis death and RE never happened.

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
He had a fine story set up. All he had to do was carry through with the whole tragic character self-sacrificing himself for the good of the conflict, even if it was entirely predictable. It was established early on in the manga that the characters he was mentoring would have to kill him if he went rogue, it was all there.
What we got was a series of utterly baffling decisions and omissions that felt like the product of just making shit up week on week.
You have any reasoning behind that or just some buzzwords?
Close but not quite. He had become molded into self sacrifice as a form of self satisfaction, becuase “mommy beats me because she’s overworked, take it out on me mom” thing. RE did have a steep drop in quality throughout and was a laughable mess in the end
I dropped the Tokyo ghoul anime when I saw the protagonist dropped down on the floor, start weeping and saying I AM HUMAN. It is such a tried hard scene I didn't expect the rest to be good. Is it actually any good? Or it is just an edgy battle shounen?
Cope
Perhaps a series such as boku no hero or black clover would be to your liking

The anime is fucking horrible, typical low effort pierrot drivel, cramming hundreds of chapters into a few dozen episodes with a healthy dose of QUALITY. Read the first part of the manga and don't touch :re unless you want to see the descent of a solid manga into incomprehensible garbage.
you should learn to control your sodium level and be more like this guy
the first season is forgiven solely for giving us
>OSHIETE OSHIETE YO SONO SHIKUMI WO
The entire soundtrack is god-tier, I still listen to it.youtu.be
>Re: is trash
>Re: is great
Gonna have to read it for myself to find the truth.
That, white silence, and licht und schatten I guess. The rest including RE’s weren’t anything special
If you only want cool punch kick then you won’t care, if you get butthurt about senseless plot developments and dropped plot lines you will reee
VANCOUVER!! BURNING!
Very large cope
>.002 seconds late
the flaws are too numerous to count
When was it that they had twizzler implants done? Small mistake compared to all the others, though. also have a 6 finger hand
Literal dogshit ending with a dogshit ending arc with rushed dogshit writing for underdeveloped dogshit characters over a dogshit plot, with one of the worst anime adaptations to have ever been made.
Ironic that the original series was so fantastic.
Don't listen to the cope fanboys, very based
yeah it was fixed. My snip was immediately when it was released on niggastream or imperialscans or whatever it was at the time. not sure if it was a scanlation issue or source mistake
:re was so fucking bad it's not even funny. so many horrible plotlines and abandoned shit, a lot of random shit came out that wasn't explained. I still don't understand anything about furuta or the clowns, or one eyed ghouls or any of that shit
Remember, intro of the book "If I had to describe my life it would be tragedy"
>Defeats ghoul boomers
>Kills evil ghouls
>Ghouls live in peace with humans now
>Kaneki has a daughter and wife that he loves very much, along with many friends and his own house
Lmfao, kill yourself
Ishida has always been shit at hands.
There's a piece of art with Tsukiyama holding a book to his chest and his hand is about 3x as big as it should be.
What is Ishida up to these days? D
Did he died?
umu
When Eto died the power levels went to literal shit. Nothing mattered anymore.
100% a mistake on ishida's side. it's not one bit surprising that he made mistakes like that and fixed them for the tanks.

Yikes
Was Kaneki's mom a escaped half human too?
Praise Talker the ultimate fujokiller.
I thought the party was over though
damn that must have been hell of a good joke
Those original TG threads and the memes they spawned were something to behold.
Why didn't they keep the :re design?

Is this a joke? >>>
I miss them, bros!

Literally happening with SnK right now. Nips can't into endings, that's a given. At least, reading TG with Yas Forums was a wild ride and I miss it.

It gets even more sad when you realize the fact that Ishida initially planned to end the series after Vol 14 (:re) and have Kaneki die a tragic death. For some reason though, he discarded this ending

Fulfilling his Shoujo dream through an otome game
There was a small window where Ishida could have fixed the manga (expanding on the things he, later on, brought back/introduced) right after the Tsukiyama Arc when the hype was at an all-time high. He didn't, and the manga never really recovered from that.
What will this shit be about anyways?
This. I was on the shitter and almost fell off.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I love Kaneki.
*slurp slurp*
>we will never get comfy duo adventures of Edge Reaper and Eto to break the birdcage
cringe
fuck off, Yas Forumstard
Extreme samefagging for a shit series that literally became even more garbage after cochlea.

Copying from another post:
>Jack Jeanne has a story similar to Hana Kimi or Kenka Bancho Otome, where a heroine disguises herself as a guy so she can attend an exclusive academy. Kisa has dreamed of a life in the theater, and she finally has her shot. However, in order to possibly get the education and opportunity she wants, she has to pretend she is a man, enter the Univers Opera School boys school, and be the star of its final performance at the end of the year. To succeed, you’ll need to get to know her classmates and become close to them in visual novel segments, as well as succeed in playing along with songs in the rhythm game selections.
>Ishida is incredibly involved in Jack Jeanne’s development. He created the concept, put together the character designs, and wrote the scenario
So the man himself is not just the designer, he basically does everything from script to concept and design.
She sure slurped on Kekneki's cock.
