It's the realistic response lol
So many underage edgetards actually believe murdering the entirety of the worldwide population to protect yourself is totally ok
>Friends don't want to wipe out most human beings.
Well, yeah, that's how it works.
Isayama is a hack who doesn't know how to end the series.
>retards still think eren will kill everyone
No it isn't fuck you
>SC decides to put their own lives and their people in danger just to prove their moral superiority
Why are these characters so awful?
They lived through hell and now no one appreciate that. So SC want everyone to experience what they felt.
So what does this have to do with japanese history anyway
It doesn't mean he won't kill everyone. It just means they won't die enraging pointless deaths like in The Mist.
I would just let you know that if my life dependend on it, I wouldn't mind that you had to die, user.
Even if it's unpleasant, I would rather live than die.
Now all is missing is eren losing to not-Russia.
What was the point of Sasha dying?
To give Gabi an incredible character arc
yes
So many underage cucks actually believe bending over for the entirety of the worldwide population to sacrifice yourself is totally ok
>Would genocide the world for
Does anyone have any idea of what Isayama's initial plans for the series were? He says stuff like he wanted a "mist" ending and initially planned to end it years earlier, but I don't see how that's possible given how tightly scripted most of the story has been to this point. Like, did he just want everyone to die before reaching the basement? I just can't see the story playing out in any other way to this point (especially with the context of chapters 120-123)
>People genuinely believe some power of friendship alliance can stop Armageddon
Retards
Sleep tight.
Sometimes I get so angry at certain posters in /Snk/ threads that I blackout in rage and wake up hours later to find out the thread has already been archived
>People genuinely believe some power of friendship alliance can stop Armageddon
Yes.
So what is the alternative? Die to their army so you cant be called an edge lord by some low T beta male on Yas Forums?
The mist ending is fucking dead.
Why do you think we're getting the capeshit alliance right now?
Everything is lining up for the Eternal Champion ending.
Kek delusional.
SnK also has tons of similarities to Naruto.
Guess we're getting the nakama end too
Why is it sensible to help out an enemy superpower (and its allies) when it’s on the backfoot after it’s unprovoked aggression has been the cause of all your problems?
Especially when you have no way to guarantee said superpower won’t immediately go back to trying to ass fuck you once its back on its feet. So basically, his "friends" are about to kill their own countrymen to save their enemies. That's cuckoldry at its peak.
>would genocide the world for
Ymir has bigger connection to Mikasa.
ik, im saying it's silly to think that the series could have gone down a different route considering how detailed all the twists have been so far, so i'm asking if anyone knows if he had a different story structure in mind at any point
Look. It's very fucking obvious most of Eren's friends are in denial. They still think they can get a happy ending, which is why they try to prevent the genocide. They don't want a genocide, obviously. If anyone, they know that innocent people dying is wrong, and there's shit ton of them this time. So they try to prevent it, in hopes of something good maybe happening after they've stopped Eren. They pretty much operate on "surely we will not be genocided when this is all over, no way that'd happen" basis even though they all know that's exactly what will happen. They KNOW it - but they refuse to accept it, and act accordingly
Annie even confronted them about this, she said that they'd have to kill Eren to stop him and none of them knew how to respond to that. They just went "YEAH WELL WE WILL SEE" and continued their alliance because they're so fucking deep in denial that they just refuse to face reality
Eren is the only one who has arrived at acceptance, it happened sometime when he was alone in the new world, before the grim reminder 2.0
ENTER CHADKASA
I've seen the Nardo post. All the comparisons like 9 titans and 9 bijuus were surface level stuff. Meanwhile Isayama is ripping off Eternal Champion so hard he might as well be paying Moorcock royalties.
This.
No one in the SC would've accepted this senseless massacre. Not Erwin.
If you have a workng heart and a functioning moral compass, then yes, it is the realistic response
While I do agree that people in conflicting settings choose to protect their own (friends, family, etc), they do so in situations where the complete genocide of every human being on the planet isn't on the line.
Eren's actons aren't based or realistic - they are incredibly childish.
He's selfishly choosing to execute every man woman and child (remember a good 90% + people on the planet have no active opinion about Eldia - they just want to be able to pay the bills on time) to protect his friend group.
Eren is either doing this with the stupid belief that the same cycle of human nature won't occur again (which is sheer ignorance), or he's doing it for his friends (his friends are trying to stop him).
He's no better than Floch.
>YOU CANT JUST KILL THE HECKIN OUTSIDE WORLDARINOS!!!
>there's certainly no one among those comrades
What about Floch?
He was part of the the suicide charge you know?
Someone already explained this:
Erekose (Protagonist) = Eren (They both swore "kill them all", and they are gonna die soon for a curse, they want be normal guys)
Iolinda (Human princess) = Mikasa (They are both very jealous and both accuse the protagonist of sympathizing with the enemy, remember Annie)
Ermizhad (Eldren princess... yeah her race is called Eldren and The Eternal Lover) = Historia (They are both blondes and have blue eyes, both had a sibling who had the key to unlock the ancient power of the Eldren people, remember Frieda)
en.wikipedia.org
Erekose reincarnates to be the savior of mankind and has dreams in which he can see his past and future lives (as the user of the coordinate can see his previous and future users). In addition he is stuck in a battle between two sides, humanity and the Eldren.
The Eldren have an old power that almost destroyed the world and its ruler has decided not to use it even if that means the extinction of its species -the 145th king-
He is destined to commit genocide of some kind, and at some point says "I swear I would kill them all"
Erekose sounds like Eren
Erekose loves Ermizhad, an Eldren princess who is described as a blond woman with blue eyes.
John Daker/Erekose carries the burden of remembering every incarnation he has ever had/ the coordinate.
Prince Arjavh is a stand in for both the 145th king and Zeke
This, but unironically.
Saving the world and her husband.
post cute eh
No! Bad dog!
It's not protecting himself and his friends it's protecting his entire country and population against indiscriminated genocide. If eren was to die and decided to destroy the world it would be retarded, but if, for example, your country was subjected to decades of sistematic genocide and the world openly showed the intention to wipe you and all the people in it from the face of the earth, I don't see how defending yourself is wrong. If all the countries band together to genocide one just because they see that ethnic group as devilish, they should just take the moral high ground and accept it?
Ok, what happens if the Alliancebros stop Eren? If they let Eren live, how will Magath and the rest of the world deal with the fact that the FT is still in his possession (reminder that they infiltrated paradis to obtain the FT)? Furthermore, Paradis is basically tramped down by now and all of the walls are gone which initially were designed to save them from outside enemies. Will Magath and the rest of world agree to help rebuild their island and everything? Or will they allow them to seek refugee in one of their countries and just put them in internment zones? What about the potential threat that Eldians bring with them, will they suddenly stop (rightfully) seeing them as man-eating monsters? What about the resources in paradis, will they suddenly stop caring about them? Then there's still the titan curse issue which every shifter will fall victim to in the future.
Chadkasa mogs Annie
>Floch
You mean the evil jobber?
We know this copypasta.
It's not happening. Stop spamming already.
.
>Eren is either doing this with the stupid belief that the same cycle of human nature won't occur again (which is sheer ignorance), or he's doing it for his friends (his friends are trying to stop him).
No, Eren is doing this because he feels like he's been forced into it. He doesn't feel like the responsibility is on him, he doesn't blame himself over the death of innocents. He feels like the ultimatum has been placed on him. This is all very much a matter of principle to him. That burning hatred you saw in child Eren still lives, and the reason for that burning hatred has always been that his freedom was stolen from him. He hated titans because they were the one thing that prevented his freedom, now he sees the big picture and blames Marley instead
Eren isn't being childish or naive as much as he's just the kind of person who would die for his ideals. It's like being forced into a trolley problem where one set of tracks is your family, and one set of tracks the rest of the world. For a man like him the choice is obvious; run over the world and feel zero guilt because you were forced into it. Whoever put you into that situation, the blood is in their hands. Letting your family die would be conceding your freedom away, and there's no way he'd let that happen. Instead he'll say "no, fuck you, this is your fault" and pull the lever, which is what he's doing
This series will have a cop out ending of the highest order, this is doomed to fail.
Free (you)s
Thanks Mikasa.
This is why the trip outside the walls was important. Eren and bros had lived their entire lives inside the walls without the knowledge of existence of any other humans.
They, much like Marley. had no idea of the true nature of humans outside Paradis. Outside Paradis Eren and co. got to experience human beings with no connection to their struggle - people struggling to pay bills with no opinion on "the island devils".
It's the same with your exampled country. I can see the anger the country would have towards the world in general for the years of hatred, but once that country realizes the existence of the oppressed outside their country they would see genocide differently.
They'll all die, literally everyone. This manga was about the eventual nuclear holocaust where humanity wipes itself off the planet
God, the writing got awul this chapter.
>this chapter
Magath lies to the world. If he says to leave Paradis alone lest they rumble again, the other nations will be inclined to believe it. The world doesn't know activating the Founder requires royal blood, so we essentially turn back to the situation of Fritz's bluff. Paradis will have time to develop and become a player in a post-titan world with an extremely valuable resource which will propel them onto the global stage.
Honestly, this user is right. If people from the outside world spent several months in Paradis like Eren and co did in Marley, they would view the Island "devils" with different eyes. Because of this alone, the genocide is stupid.
I understand but still. What do Eldians do? With your position they
a) accept mass genocide like good boys and girls
b) try to emigrate to other countries hoping not to be discovered and killed/put in camps
Even if the people from the country knew that there was sadness and humanity in the other countries, it doesn't make the other countries banding together to genocide them any more agreeable. And Isayama isn't going to give us an ending where Eren singularily hunts down every politician, militaryman and person who can't let eldians live while all the good people of the world are spared so it's either accept complete and utter genocide or kill the world. And if you still think that accepting the genocide of you and your entire ethnicity/country is great then you are lying or have absolutely no empathy or the heart you claim
I just want my genocide ending.
Then it's Isayama being a fucking hack which no one ever denied I guess but what does Eren do? Get the titans to the shores of all the towns and cities and scream "VISIT MY HOMETOWN TO SEE WE ARE HUMANS OR DIE!"
Not that user, but this is the biggest message of the manga, in my opinion. Just TRY to understand other people. You don't have to agree with them. You don't have to place their needs above their own. You don't have to give up your life, your safety, or your nation for them. But you should just try to understand their point of view. If you're not even willing to try talking with someone of course there's no hope for deescalating a situation.
