What is the greatest anime of all time and why is it Steins Gate?
What is the greatest anime of all time and why is it Steins Gate?
Go back to MAL, fag. Jesus, polluting this thread with your shit.
Could be. I remembered I wanted someone to spar with more than this sometimes. That I can't get my children back. But I can spar. Japan was a good spar. But then I conquered it's art. My brothers and any DNA family was beat in all respects. I will not partake in your sin though. The only place you had left to run. You excuse. Royce and other friends I wanted not to sin but also at the same time to spar with me. I thought he'd be one to band with me to spar with the U.S. artists.
you have to have watched at least 100 anime before posting.
...
We've yet to see if an anime about hacking Cern ...an ibm and going bk in time to stop someone getting murdered can be communicated well in Steins gate..
It worked in Erased because the childhood friendships were heartfelt and him lucid dreaming ..then going to school and remembering his mission were all explained..
I see why the plot twists kept you guessing right till the end..
>Why is it Steins Gate
Steins Gate is a masterpiece work of art that exceeds all other anime because
>11/10 character building
>10/10 plot pacing
>10/10 ending that leaves the viewer satisfied no questions
>Okabes and kurisus interactions
>Superb vocal direction and performance from the entire main cast (Okabes stands out as one of the best VA performances off all time)
Just a few examples of many, the first half of the show is really what makes you love these characters
True, J Michael Tatum really went above and beyond for his Okabe role.
stop hating on popular thing you stupid shit fucking cunts , fmab is fucking great hur they got elric dog breed with girl huf hus sad** trauma “” opf
Oh boy, can't wait for Steins; Gate to become the new HxH of this board.
I tried to watch Steins Gate but it kept buffering and I got so annoyed I gave up. Are you telling me it's worth another try?
Fuck off falseflag
You fucking retards stop (You)ing the first post can't you tell it's OP?
no, its not. try again.
It's not a masterpiece by any means. It's a good show, 8/10, but it has major flaws especially in how the time travel in it makes no fucking sense.
Time travel never makes any sense in ANY fictional work because it can't.
Yeah you must be right, he must have just happened to post the #1 norMALfag anime on a thread dedicated to the #2 norMALfag anime that was already an obvious falseflag.
Yes it can. Just because it doesn't exist doesn't means it can't be logically implemented. Haruhi has consistent and realistic time travel. Also the problem S;G has isn't only realism, but also consistency. It fails to stick to its rules.
>dubshit
There is literally nothing realistic about time travel
why do you care?
But you can picture the laws of the universe in a realistic way. It's possible to determine what time travel would allow if it existed. And it wouldn't allow to change the past.
Calling Steins;Gate a masterpiece is like calling BTTF a masterpiece.
But user, he cares too. Notice how the posts are one minute apart. Now stop bumping this thread.
bump
Both anime were phenomenal. I don't get it why people here shit on MAL scores? When I pick an anime that's in MAL's top 100, it turns out good. When I take Yas Forums's recommendations like Gochiusa or Non Non Biyori or Little Witch Academia, it turns out a complete garbage. There are certain objective standards of art and beauty, most people recognize them and vote accordingly. That's why Steins;Gate and HunterxHunter and FMA:B are in the top 10 and not Zombieland Saga, Konosuba, Overlord or K-On.
Personal agency and the ability to persevere, even when it feels like god is against you.
I agree, no other show has ever touched on me on a emotional level more that Steins Gate has
Chastises fatalism and challenges viewers to always strive for more no matter how you much you fail, even if everyone and God himself is against you there is always a happy ending through self determination and the love of others.
Maybe Yas Forums doesn't like it because of it's happy ending and positive themes
reddit tier shit
Shut the hell up you fucking schizo
watch erased and reconsider this post
>steins;gay
Erased was amazing, what's your point?
>It's possible to determine what time travel would allow if it existed.
But it doesn’t exist, so there’s no way of knowing how much would be possible to determine
Yes. I've been putting it off for a long time, but a bit over a year ago I finally watched it and it was one of the best anime experiences I had.
its shit
Yas Forums doesn't like it because it's highly rated. That it's
Erased was boring but the ending triggered a lot of people so I give it a 6/10.
Being highly rated is a red flag but ultimately not why it's shit
That and the fact that love for it has survived for a long time.
SciFAGs BTFO
Love how the last two episodes of S;G have the latter part of the song play in the OP instead of the usual. Take one of the final lines of the first part, which played up to episode 22, "A swallowed solitary observer" which then turns to ""I observe alone in my solitude, but I never doubt myself." All the lyrics of the two parts of the song in fact contrast each other very well. This is a good example of the sort of thematic shift that sort of ties into what you're saying and marks the fantastic progression the show goes through when characterizing Okabe and his experience leading to the true ending.
fatalism/predeterminism vs Okabe's epiphany that causality and determinism do not have to devolve into the negative views of a binding fate without free will. Which is exactly why it is the choice of Steins;Gate, of Okabe himself. It really is a great way to express the main theme of the story, and Okabe is absolutely instrumental in how well it was done, which is definitely why he is one of my favorite characters in the entire medium, there's just so much development, complexity and thematic progress embedded in his journey, and I'm sure it's even more nuanced and amazing in the VN, with all the alternative endings
The vn was better
It's such a powerful story that I could ramble on endlessly about it, it's narrative echoed in such a personal touching way that I'm certain I'll never experience this with another show again. This is just my thought and opinion and I know not everyone had the same experience as me but if you say "it's shit" I want to know why?
Why is it then? Imo it's criminally underated
Gotta love how it uses the multiple world lines as not only a plotpoint but a metaphorical device to illustrate it's powerful message
The show is so highly rated and loved by many because it deserves it
You know you have 2 perfect places to talk about this shit in peace right?
>2009+11
>still no Noah translation
Not your safespace buddy
Violet Evergarden
Kurisus chest
There is a very disappointing lack of art featuring Kurisu with her bra showing through her rain soaked shirt.
Let me guess
It's bad because the time travel is "unrealistic"? You're an idiot, don't even bother to try an explain your stupidity
It's bad because it has a trap in it, and that automatically makes any show shit tier 1/10
fpbp
Kek
its bad because its boringly "animated" and kurisu is as fun as wet socks
also this
S;G is very good, but wasn't even the best time-travel show of its own year.
No serious answers? Not surprised
Watch more anime
That's because you're a normalfag user. People who shit on MAL score are actually smart.
Watch Haruhi and reconsider this post.
Why does that make you smart?
Way around. Smart people shit on MAL scores because they can see they're objectively bullshit, due to being smart.
Steins;Gate is a dumb show, it's good but definitely not even close to #2 of all time or even its decade
>Haruhi
Oh you're baiting
congrats you're a pleb
Yes.
No.
