Yeah, it's magic system, lore and world building and the development and interactions between characters are some of the reasons why I consider Death Mage the best Isekai going on at the moment.
It's also good that is not so comedy like but also not so serious either. Is something more in the middle, it takes itself seriously but also have some comedy relief moment. like a shounen + Isekai.

Also the RAWS for chapter 16 of the manga just came out yesterday, if someone want to check it out.

Still Death Mage not depends on the attributes in order to gain power. It also has the jobs and titles system and the possibility to obtain skills with a variety of effects depending what happened to the person that obtain the skill. If someone were poisoned and resist the poison, is possible that that person obtain the "poison resistance" skill
