I don't think it's the digital world, it must be the same as Hunters and Appmon, a world on the border between the real and digital worlds. I think digital world will only appear in a second arc of the new series

Because Adventure is quite literally the only season that performs well. Tamers does "okay" but the gap between it and Adventure-related sales is significant, and no new show has actually done well since Tamers almost 20 years ago.

Appmon was a desperate attempt at being cool with kids and it did pretty badly, now they are trying with giving a modern coat of paint to the cast that already worked decades ago
Unironically they look the same to me. I mean Matt and Sora look like a palette swap and Kari does have a different one. All the rest look the same.
