I bought the first three volumes and finished the first two of them, I want to talk a bit about it with you anons. I only just got into manga at the start of 2020, so I haven't read a lot of manga yet, but I really love what I've read so far of Yotsuba.
I'm too jaded to be touched or shocked by extreme violence and suffering on a a level that genuinely emotionally resonates with me, so I was surprised when Yotsuba made me feel something, happiness, goddamn I feel happy. I feel genuinely happy today. Getting up in the morning reading a chapter or two of Yotsuba and starting my day, this is probably the happiest I've been this year. I like the philosophy of Yotsuba's Enjoy everything attitude.
There's not a single character I don't like so far. My three favorites are, obviously, Yotsuba, and then Fuuka and Jumbo. I like how Fuuka gets all the shit but has a positive attitude and her design is great, Jumbo has some really fun interactions with Yotsuba.
The art in general is super sharp and I was surprised at how good it was. Being a gag manga, I thought the art would be sub-par, but it's really fantastic.
I know one thing anons, I need more of Yotsuba. Volume 3 isn't as long as the previous two, I need to go to the store and get some more volumes, this series is pure joy. Is Azumanga Daioh worth it in manga form?
Congratulation, you have discovered why the cesspit of the internet loves Yotsuba, if this little manga can bring joy to the likes of us, it is surely a miraculous manga worthy of the love it gets here.
Yes, Azumanga Daioh is worth buying and reading, I have the yen press omnibus.

Nice. Next time I'm going to the store, if I can overcome my anxiety, I'm going to get Azumanga Daioh and some more Yotsuba volumes. Of what I've read so far, I really like these chapters a lot > No Sweat/Donmai >Shopping >Heavy Rain >Cicadas >Revenge >Cake >Drawing >Pool I realize could actually just list every chapter so far, so I will just stop now
I would argue Azumanga Daioh is best in manga form.

In honor of OP, and cause I haven't seen a Yotsuba thread in a while, I'll dump my favorite chapter (and one of my favorite manga chapters in general, really). Read along, everyone!
It's one of those few things, if not the only thing, that people on Yas Forums universally like. I've never seen anyone shitposting on Yotsuba, not even ironically.
Yeah, I think so too. I first bought Blade of the Immortal, then some Berserk and then some Vagabond, and I realized I was lacking some variety and maybe would burn myself out just reading the same ultra-violent or serious seinen stories all the time, so I got Girl's Last Tour and now Yotsuba. They struck me as something I'd enjoy a lot.
For the longest time I would just read a chapter whenever an user posted it, I only very recently went and read the whole thing in order. Didn't really effect anything, still great.
No problem! This chapter is always a good one. Yotsuba is always very fun and cozy, but I like when it can kind of drop that fun down a tad for some introspection. And it's nice to see Yotsuba learn a valuable lesson and her dad be a good parent. Just good stuff all around. Also what said.

These are the three volumes I got. I really like the cover art. Especially volume 2, I like the sisterly approach Fuuka has taken to Yotsuba and their friendship.
Yeah, one of my favorite moments in volume 1 was in the chapter 'Shopping', I think, when Yotsuba and her dad goes to the top of the shrine and overlooks the city as their new home. It's quite nice.
