From what I have seen they respond to a lot of people there. I also saw someone using english and edited crop in one of them the artist didn't sound happy about.

the entire setting was rigged in their favor and without the dungeon they are basically A+ rank adventurers with minor advantages and teamwork, on top of all this the only reason for getting their help was their defensive capabilities and experience, which I am assuming was entirely due to the dungeon in the first place
I mean there haven't been any signs of how they are supposed better than anybody else at defensive battles outside of the dungeon

He probably doesn't have that power now. In another timeline he tried to do that and got Mio killed.

His mistresses don't have to be on the same level that they could fight, although maybe they could use the battle competitions already occuring. If Tomoe or Mio tells someone she's being gifted with the right to carry one of Makoto's children, that person will likely be happy enough to serve or afraid of the consequences to say no, and know they will always have a lesser role than those two.

Did you read the latest chapter? These girls are BROKEN if the charm is released. All the horrible shit they did floods their memories at once, the only reason Haruka is relatively sane is all her broken ass blessings and gifts. And even SHE wants to die because of what she did. God the shitshow when the charm is mass purged is going to be big enough I think even the Bug Goddess is going to need to step in and do something.

You don't know how these harem fights work, right? The mothers won't challenge Tomoe and Mio for an open battle. The fights happen in the shadow, via their children, who would all be demi-gods with Makoto being their father.
