Little late, making a chapter dump thread since the JB version came out.
Kaguya 180
I guess that potential butler love interest is out of the question now.
I guess she wants to be a little selfish and have Kaguya pay attention to her instead?
Future prez saves up enough money to buy himself glasses.
Bros time.
We'll get'em next time!
At this point I feel like Maki needs some divine intervention to forget about Tsubasa.
Shinomiya does look like a battered wife trying desperately to keep someone around.
It's time for this failure of a romcom to redeem itself through fan service! He's probably going to fuck with us and give us nothing.
Chapter end.
Thanks for the dump.
Who says that?
how mad would you be if hayasaka left
I just hope it doesn't end with Kaguya saying she'll totally stop taking Hayasaka for granted for real this time (totally unlike every other time she's promised to treat her better and then proceeded to treat her exactly the same) and Hayasaka going "Aww, I guess I'll keep being your slave after all" and nothing changes at all.
Aka already said that Hayasaka will have a bigger role once he focuses on classroom chapters instead of stuco ones. My guess is Hayasaka actually retires but starts interacting with Kaguya at school a lot.
Huh, so it was actually her plan but she didn't think through the consequences?
I got the impression that she genuinely think it would make people decide on a country when I read spoilers, but this one makes more sense.
>butler love interest
It was always clear it's not happening.
I'm sure she isn't getting a love interest (on-screen at least). But if she does, it's going to be someone outside of Shinomiya house.
How will Erika and Karen react when Hayasaka's cover is inevitably blown?
Remember, this is targeted to Office Ladies.
Expect manservice.
I don't really get this "you can't flirt with girls alone" thing.
Seems like crabs in a bucket, honestly. No wonder Tsubasa ran away.
Though maybe they would probably let Prez go if they knew he already had a soulmate.
Why does Hayasaka keep it to herself that she was fired?
Does she think Kaguya will challenge the main house then? I mean, she is in a cold war with them anyway, and they could plan for meeting up in school, or maybe in America.
It's a common trope about the loveless group of friends. Often they're happy for their bro, but also seething with jealousy.
We don't know if she was fired. The mail simply said she might be getting a dismissal, which she might have requested herself. We saw hints of her being relieved at Kaguya's growth like before she headed for the roof during the festival.
Basically, it was a cunning spur of the moment plan that she regretted after the fact.
Remember when this manga was good?
You never had a friend who had a gilfriend? It fucking sucks. The girlfriend always takes priority when making plans.
I mean, how much can she even do here?
The house and family responsibilities can't be managed by anybody else since Shinomiyas went for cheap for some reason. Nothing to do here.
She mostly doesn't ask her to help in mind game plans now, though with occasional exceptions.
School, yet again, is her responsibility, no way around that.
She already called for help too, after the rap chapter, the main house is just slow.
Kaguya's biggest sins right now are consulting her daily on her love problems (which is just asking for general emotional support, she doesn't have anybody else to confide in and Hayasaka actually enjoys and never tries to complain about those) and bragging about her love life (which she thinks Hayasaka enjoys).
She doesn't even really mistreat her now, it is genuinely just miscommunication by this point. And even then, I would say it is more Shinomiyas that are at fault rather than her, even if she could do better.
Bro future looks like more fun in all honesty. Looks like an apex pack of chads.
>Maki's suffering will never end
Why is Aka bullying her so hard?
Aka teaching the reader a lesson. Tsundere passive aggressiveness is not a good trait almost never wins. Either make your move or live with the potential reality of having your crush taken by someone else.
Honestly she has overstayed her welcome in the story.
She can stick around in a different role, to make the dynamics between her "liberated self" and the main characters more interesting.
>she has overstayed her welcome in the story
>still more entertaining than most of the cast at this point
Can't wait for her to get the trendy short bob cut and for her new found character development. Though it being aka it will be some joke where kaguya does it and hayasaka will be horrified.
Oh it will be fanservice alright
That Prez and friends back, and maybe a hint of Taubasa's hyperweapon
Hayasaka and Shirogane still have a bit that can be used, though I'd see it after the former drops the acts
Remember that both of them go with philosophies of 'you can't show others your true self', and just like Miyuki confronted her in the rap chapter so could she do it to him
I really think they could be great friends, much to Kaguya's chagrin
>no Ishigami x Fujiwara
Dropped.
user this is like the tenth time you've dropped the series.
Who are these guys again?
Prez's bros, who have appeared in a couple fo chapters and got bios in volume omakes.
Kazamatsuri is super based.
Shirogane's friends, user. It's not that hard to put together.
You last saw them at the karaoke mixture.
What if Aka knows we're expecting no fanservice, and then shatters our expectations by actually giving us fanservice?
I realized they were his friends, but it's been so long I had honestly forgotten about them
Wish they incorporated a bit of Yas Forumsnon's phrasing at times, like for the top panel here, or the sports team analogy with the boys
Will Smith in MiB comes to mind, but I'm sure other people have said it.
That's not Will's line tho
That makes sense is a fucking twisted way. Could she be a meta commentary on the popular tsundere winner in anime / manga media?
The weak should fear the strong
>another thread
>literally nothing to talk about
Remember what Aka said about Fujiwara?
So it wasn't just me, nobody had dumped yet.
Yes, so?
A genius!
... a genius.
not even slightly.
I like Hayasaka as a character, but I don't think I'd miss her that much
I relate to Maki on a spiritual level.
Maybe not mad, but sad for sure.
>more entertaining than most of the cast at this point
>Her melodrama killed the momentum
>All discussion completely died off
>forgetting about Aka's autism
Yeah yeah Ishigamitard only cares about retarded love triangle discussion.
"I think this is one of those instances where discretion is the better part of valour: Fujiwara has an idea."
Finally, we'll see if Prez stuck with that training.
