Contemplating on ordering both Hikari and Homura. Never played XBC2 but the figures look nice.

although since they both come out in December I feel like I might regret it since other figures I might want will also get released on december. what do?

I am considering buying one of these
How terrible is that idea?

uh oh, I have a poster coming in with buyee that I bought on yahoo JP auctions and I didn't buy any extra protection. I hope it's not crumpled to shit

do it friend

>order today
>get it next year
I dont think I can be a buyfag

>can't even wait a year
buyfaggotry builds character don't it

I just heard some Koreans complain about Amazon Japan shipping fee increased based on box size,(especially metal build series and freeing figures) do we have any news on this?

That is why I only buy figs that are already available.

Buyfagging teaches patience, budgeting, critical thinking and light research skill. It's fantastic except for the whole $400 figure thing.

Heh

It's not a terrible idea at all, user! In fact it's a great idea! The friends are cute! CUTE!

aside from amico and play-asia, what other stores can i pre-order them from? i don't think hlj or hobby nips will list them. did they even sell them during their initial run?

it's amiami exclusive according to their site

i hope you didn't forget to PO cute robot to complete the set user.

>Got the hair color wrong
reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

t-elos eventually my bros

that's a shame. i was hoping "particular shops" would include something other than amico. the first article on the net regarding the re-release linked to play-asia so i thought it would be "less exclusive".

can you make money in the west by finishing garage kits and selling the completed figure?

there might be a market for it

>Green
excuse me

Yes
Both
I already had Homura so got Hikari ordered now, christmas gift for me already

Why exactly can't they ship out Hikari and Homura together? Why is it Single Shipment only?

this isn't about garage kits per se, but i have a friend who assembles gunpla and sells them with a huge mark-up. he does some custom coloring and is really good at what he does. he once told me he made near $200 for a single model but he usually averages around $100 for a model that takes him around 2-3 weeks. making a living out of it, i don't think it's that possible. but it's his hobby aside from being an architect so it works well for him.

big box, was the same with jeanne

Both

But fuck, i want Morag, Nia, or Poppi in some shape or form next.

I want both but its hella expensive, hope the aftermarket price is better this time

A throwback to the initial loadout she has.
Looks cool in a practicool way, ngl

yeah if your good theres people that pay commission for it.

Brutal

Trying to cash in on superior green gun loli by adding realism.

>spends 2-3 weeks to make a $100
>making a living out of it

Is he living in Burundi?

With shipping and friendly German customs, they would probably end up costing 500 bucks together.

Level up your reading comprehension.

Looks like shit. I hate western painters, a lot tend to hand paint too many details and it turns out cakey and too "painterly." Anime figures just need airbrush shading.

Looks cuter honestly. I think the pink soldier uniform was gaudy, but I didn't watch or even care about that show anyway so meh

Wait for Nia.

who?

I found a pretty good deal on the GSC 1/8 hatsune miku (from 2008/2011) and the moekore 3.9 encore 1/6
I don't really want to get both of them so I was wondering if anyone had one or both of them and had any thoughts about which one they like better

>Amazon JP international rape shipping prices get even higher
Oh good

Is Zenmarket default packaging safe for figs?

yes

they will rise in price again after one or two years after release . How much was each one before the re-release anouncement like 800 usd ?

Attached: 1517622741460.gif (500x361, 1023.03K)

Is scalping really that bad even after a second release? Shouldn't volume make them way less valuable than the first run even a year or two after?

Well, to give him credit, the sentence structure was a little awkward. I had to reread it myself to understand.

That hair ruins the whole thing. No way I’m paying $200 for that.

they don't

What type of paint do they use to paint scale figures? Lacquers?

I checked a few FREEing figures, and I notice no difference in price to the USA at the moment. Is this planned for the future or is it supposed to be in effect now?

I have a few as well, I put them on my manga shelves to brighten them up.

they were popping on mandarake for 26k yen

Anybody own this prize fig?
How's the quality on it?

>Is this prize figure, prize figure tier quality?

is it at least NOT ugly looking with a shit paintjob?
theres prizefigs that look really good despite being prize figs

Even the prototype image on the box looks bad so I would not be expecting much.

The biggest problem in the west is the competing points of "What people are willing to pay", "What you need to make a living" and "What you need to get decent turnaround times" don't intersect too often

The best example would be Ihaztoys, they started painting garage kits and were modestly priced with good turnaround time but they weren't making enough for it to be their livelihood.
Now they make their own figures, take ages, are over priced and haven't seen a deadline they couldn't skip.
