Binging the first 150 helped, but also Horikoshi is really good at copying the surface of a good manga - cool poses, cool characters, with designs that trick you into thinking they have a future. Especially anime onlies who take one year breaks in between the cancer to forget the shitty parts, who only care about spectacle won't notice that what Hori is best at is creating promises - but he is the worst at delivering.
