My rationale is that there's not going to be nearly enough demand for it to reach 1 million before 2021. Banks would fight to keep their influence, not that they even need to; most people don't think much of bitcoin and don't mind centralized finance. As someone else said (I can't remember his name), bitcoin and other cryptos are still in their "ghetto phase" where they are either a speculative asset, a means of buying drugs online, or sime kind of "schmuck insurance".
