will going to undergrad there punch my ticket to the ruling class in biz-tech-medicine-law-politics?
Is the University of Chicago elite?

it's good, but you fucked up. Uchicago is the absolute worst of the elite schools. it's hard as shit and the social life there sucks ass and you're surrounded by basketball americans. you actually have to work at uchicago. if you had the credentials to get in there, you should have been able to get into at least 1 ivy (not princeton or cornell because they're similarly hard as shit), or stanford which would've been 100000000000x better than uchicago:where fun goes to die.
>t. stanford undergrad.
It's basically on par with Tufts.
Ivy League reject school.
no, it's substantially better than Tufts. tufts is straight ass. it's probably above berkeley cornell brown, but below caltech columbia duke harvard mit princeton stanford yale. both of these categories are above the ACTUAL ivy reject schools, like Northwestern, Boston University, UCLA, etc
most got in early. the few regular decision cross-admit losses I'm seeing on my uchicago c/o 2024 facebook group seem to be columbia and duke. i seriously doubt anyone would choose uchicago over hyps unless they're a uc legacy family
>stanford
I wouldn't choose Uchicago in a thousand years because of how aids it is, but if I wasn't me and I was some rando I would choose it over anything in the tier of Northwestern/Berkeley.
shut up salty cal fag
you got thorough answers last thread. no, an undergrad degree will not be enough for those particular fields. it will be a good start, but it wont "punch [your] ticket."
it's not "an undergrad degree". it's not like he's going to some retarded state school. there is a very large gap between the top ~20 universities in america and virtually the rest, which are all basically the same tier.
yea a lot of ucla and berkeley admits in the c/o 24 chicago fb group. and soo many introductions mention both parents attended / met at uchicago. sounds like a high probability i'll marry a classmate... if i go
