white-labelled enterprises on the Sentinel dVPN network will be integrating with real-world fiat payment channels through channels that will authorize off-chain (e.g credit card) to consume unlimited bandwidth from the network for a specific amount of time.

I like the tech (having thorough background knowledge in Tor and VPNs) but you were the one that shilled it a year ago and I’m down 95%. I fear this will go the way of Orchid, only without coinbase listing. Just too niche and the world isn’t ready for dvpns.

VPNs are centralized and inherently unsafe. A big VPN a year ago when this was shilled claimed to delete all logs/not have data retention but had the logs for FBI when they busted a CP user. That was the canary in the coal mine, just proving that VPNs are likely backdoored and compromised to begin with. Which is why a dVPN that uses a Tor layer is inherently safer.

I don't think you have to use sent. That is mainly for staking. I believe they have also addressed the issue of paying with fiat. Not 100% certain but I have been holding this forever and check on it every now and then for some updates. Seems like a lot of development.

dVPNs are one of the best crypto niches, they just lack proper marketing, sent will not get to its fait value till it gets on a better exchange like kucoin or binance, im looking forward to the main net swap, devs have been saying enterprise and legacy funds will be on boarded
fiat gateways are planned as its said in the opening post, when the v2 tendermint client will be released the experience for end users will be as easy as any legacy vpn with the ability to pay with credit cards, with the benefit of the added secrity and the ability to monetize your own bandwidth

Yeah, I honestly love VPN implementation with crypto (and decentralized), the EFF part of my gets rock hard. But even Orchid is basically the most worthless coin on Coinbase with the least volume, and it's supposed to be the Blue Chip version of SENT. Sentinel has a decent amount of nodes and the tech updates look awesome, I just think that there's not a big enough niche community in crypto (in itself already niche) that see dVPNs valuable, even if they're the same morons who think VPNs are secure and use Nord.

i think demand needs to be created to specific initiatives , main net will allow referrals so i expect most shills on crypto twitter to offer their own branded dvpn or use an external white label enterprise solution. in the end its the same for all coins people notice after volume comes and price increases
