What's the point in creating anything? Everyone is creating things at every moment of every day. What for? So we can consume and then create more? At what point have we not created enough to last everyone a lifetime? All we really need is food, shelter and power. We have all the books we could ever want to read. We have all the films we could ever want to see. We have heard every possible subject be spoken about, at length, with enough hours recorded in archives to last a life time of research. Everything else is worthless fluff, just being made for the sake of making something, so it feels like we're making good use of our time. Every single business is the same: either selling useless trinkets or pointless entertainment to fill time with. Surely there's something else we can do now? And no, I'm not interested in whatever retarded religious zealot wants to appear out of the woodwork and tell me to convert. It's just more useless product, like the rest.

Supply and demand would disagree. People wouldn't make all that shit unless there was a market for it

>low iq zoomer turned 22
>life is hard
>cheap, “deep” thoughts ensue

the government will take it from you when the time is right

There's only a market for it because people are retards who want whatever is "new". We don't actually need anything new, especially since there is nothing that is intrinsically new that can be made at this point, anyway.

Wrong

Schizo

maximum projection.

There’s a market for it because people fall for marketing

>anything i don't agree with is schizo

What do you propose we create instead? Are you just talking about entertainment?

the deliberate act of not creating anything anymore would probably get labelled as an omnipresent (scope limit, earth) postmodern art installation so suck it up buddy the machine cannot be stopped

unless you are able to shoot absolutely everybody and then yourself

and how much are we gonna bet he's taken at least his first hit of acid or more

hehehhehe

Yeah, that's the thing. The machine cannot be stopped. And the consequences are entirely boring.

I have conflicting morals here. OTOH freedom is good and so therefore that implies that the free market is good. OTOH certain things are just objectively bad for us like cigarettes or consoomerism, and yet humanity encourages all kinds of bad behaviors like drugs, alcohol, cigs, fast food, overconsumption of media, porn, etc... now some of these may be ok in moderation and some aren’t good at all, regardless our society encourages overconsumption of things, and if you point out all these bad things to npcs you always get the answer like “I like capitalism hmph” now I ain’t no commie, if anything free handouts encourage more useless and overconsumption.

Freedom is just an antiquated meme, if you scrutinise the situation nobody is actually 'free' in any sense. Agreed that pro-capitalistireenos are generally NPC twats, but not leftist either. Just think we need to think of something new, and fast. Not even necessarily a new politics, but a new reason for living. What is the intention of our civilisation, exactly? Freedom? From what? Ourselves?

For me, it’s freedom from physical labor. Freedom from illness. Freedom from interacting with people I don’t like.

Good point. But I don't see why we need a free market, consumerism and all that shit to have these things. All capitalism does is loosely veil the slave underclass that is necessary for rich people to be free in this sense. Meanwhile, they have to be placated with consumerism garbage, constantly, and so everything has become just that. Our entire economy is now there to serve the slave class itself. Noble pursuits are no longer valuable. Society's only intention is to ensure slave satisfaction.

I can't find a single emerging tech idea that isn't "increasing productivity" of what? of whatever trinkets they were making or insuring.
people are thoroughly impulsive, their desire came after the item was pushed at them. 95% of products are lifestyle products not used as anyone intended, it's all hoarded or paraded.

I think you are confusing “free market” with “capitalism or consumerism”, free market just means voluntary interaction. You and me agree on a deal with a handshake and there is no government regulator to say otherwise. The real trick the devil has pulled is hypontized people into voluntary interactions that are against their own self interests

There’s also attracting mates. People generally use money or status to attract mates. And women are highly consumerist more then men.

freedom is the medium civilisation provides to become our best selves however we so choose, i.e. virtue.
>You request my presence at the Olympic Games, and for that reason you have sent envoys. For myself, I would come for the spectacle of physical struggle, except that I would be abandoning the greater struggle for virtue.
-Apollonius

Oh, yeah. I already did that shit, and have a beautiful family, so I forget we live in a simp economy, designed by simps, built for simps, to satisfy the need of simp slaves worldwide who only think about how to attract girls they can simp for.

Not confused, just being lazy in my writing, but anyhow, you're right.

Bored of this 'freedom' propaganda

>oh yeah I already did that shit

Well aren’t you superior

Only losers care about what they need.

I just forget how pathetic most men out there are. But it's the answer to the problem at hand, here. So thanks for reminding me.

That's why moral guidance is important. Freedom with no direction or purpose just produces hedonism

Create things that you enjoy creating . Dont do it just for money.

I'm not worrying about money at all. I'm asking: what is there worth creating at this point?

How many shitty video games and action movies do slaves need? Don't they have enough? Do we just keep going round and round so the economy has a reason to move? The ultimate intention of our society is trash.

If you hold your semen for some weeks you will get an insane drive to create something meaningful, and if you indulge you will quickly notice it should be art, because art is the higherst form of vitality that there is out there, however the jews made art insanely sexually depleted by releasing constantly so now art is dead and soulless

It’s often because they’re either chasing the dopamine rush of buying shit or to fill a deeper psychological void. Humans are some fucked up monkeys bro

Point to one work of art made in the last five years that is worth my time, then.

And don't tell me about any conspiracy, since there is an entire movement of guys who don't release semen known as 'nofap'. Where is the renaissance of great art?

Lets suppose you had enough resources to support everyone with a basic income. What the hell are they suppose to do then if you took away their struggle for survival?

Somebody taped a banana to a wall

Wait a hundred years and some autistic faggots will rediscover them, there is still too much jewish money laundering and sexual subversion on art nowadays, and it won't stop for at least 10 years

We practically already have this. Most people don't do any meaningful or necessary work. We have a facade economy of people clocking in to read Facebook and Twitter all day, while a fraction of the population does any actual work.

Said people need to feel as though they belong to a moving culture, however, which is why we create this constant cycle of 'new' events happening. Their minds are then entertained by the entertainment, so they remain docile, because nobody has a clue what else to do anymore. Our society has no ultimate intention, as I say. No point other than base experience of 'events'. I guess the religious/new age/spiritual nuts are trying to change that, but it's just another mode of utter retardation I can't abide.

It’ll never stop, just cycle. There’s nothing new under the sun
