There are Chainlink perma bulls and Chainlink perma bears.The perma bears are retarded of course (how does one cope with missing out on +2000%?), but most FUD used to come from the legit Discord trannies and not the perma bears. They have been playing both sides for 3 years, trying to increase their meager swing stacks because they can't buy dips with their autism bucks.
This was specially prevalent when LINK was moving between $0.20 and $0.60. Up to $0.60 the board would be nothing but good news, breadcrumbs (real and fake) and general positive (a lot of times fake) sentiment. As soon as the Discord trannies dumped their bags they would do a 180 and spread all the FUD they had been accumulating for weeks and buy back in once newfags capitulated. Rinse and repeat.

The thing is that we who have been here for a longer time(2+ years for me) and hold LINK since 2018 know that it's just retarded fud. Meanwhile newfags who stumble on this board will maybe research Chainlink a bit, but will not have that deep knowledge yet and thus whenever they see fud like this, they get a bad feeling even though the fud is retarded.
