You want to know anything about your local mineral wealth and how to access it, ask it here, I will be making each answer as short and sweet as possible.

Your basic tools
>shovel / pick, spoons, gold pan and sniffer bottle.

The fuck is going on with prices right now??? Everything just dropped at the same time.

Sell it on r/pmsforsale

It's all bullshit. Physical demand is sky high. Dealers are getting cleared out so fast.

ever find mercury in your pan?

I know a spot where a dredge sank with 700 lbs of mercury and we still pan mercury/gold amalgam off the bedrock 100 years later.

Based. I've just started stacking Austria Gold 1 Ducats. Low premiums & 0.11 Oz each so I don't need to make big transactions.

the mercury your probably finding was used in rocker boxes with mercury traps or from men not knowing how to pan with mercury and loosing it. That mercury from the dredge probably hasnt moved more than a few meters since, its incredibly dense horrible substance. Often when I am creek crawling on famous creeks in BC, I ll find a peanut butter like paste of gray mercury amalgam stuck in cracks or in gravels. I ll usually use a tiny back pack dredge to clean that shit up, its horrible for the environment and its loaded with gold.

I am sure the mercury in the sluices of the dredge is still probably loaded as well if its still out there.

they refloated the dredge but the mercury was lost. I've only dug at the site of the sinking. It's all of 12 feet to bedrock so it's not hard to find. Plenty of free mercury though. That's where most of mine came from. I only have a couple pounds though.

i fucking wish

congrats OP the silver in your pic will never be worth more then spot

keep gathering up all that mercury. there is a lot of gold often stuck in it, and your helping clean up a century old mess.

It's not my pic faggot I just like the little miner guy

t. cotton glove sperg

i actually don't own a pair, i want some but i need to pay off my credit card before the bums charge me interest lol

The fuck are you talking about, none of that in the pic is collectible or anything

I am thinking about doing a purchase later this week or next. I kinda wanna get a little bit more gold but was also thinking atleast 15-20 ASEs, the rest in the minted meme coins or foreign coins. What kinda things do people like, say if I was willing to drop 100-150 USD?

user use this site
findbullionprices.com/closest-to-spot/
it also has gold prices. but just get what ever you think is the best deal, it tends to change daily

These coins are kinda funny.

The face value is so much higher than the metal in the coins that these will almost certainly never get melted down.

They're basically the fiat banknote of coins.

made my first silver purchase today
I'm so excited to hold it

>500 years from now anons will be finding those copper coins in the ground thinking we actually used them as currency when in reality every we do use gets destroyed and remade on a regular basis

good for you mate keep stacking!

I live in central FL...
I would happily spend my time doing this if it was viable in the slightest. Is it?

They're more dense and heavier than you expect. Also, more attractive and more-ish.
Even granted ridiculous premiums, prepare to save more money than you ever have in your life, especially if you get into the habit of buying coins that you are emotionally attached to and couldn't bear to sell.

For me, this is almost becoming a conscious strategy: if I bought too many bars, generic rounds or even too much of the same easily replaceable coin like ASEs, I would be tempted to sell in the event of the slightest hit to my finances.

Whereas when most of your coins are unique you'd almost literally live in a cardboard box on the street before you'd dream of selling.

I just spend $1700 cad on gold mining stocks

How well are these going to do?

I'm used to investing in crypto, so these probably won't 10x or whatever, or will they?

as a beginner stacker, what would be the better buy with my trumpbucks? putting aside 700 for metals, should I go with a bunch of silver or buy a golden eagle?

You all got some AL DENTE metals, friends. I respect that.

The premiums on gold are brutal. 700 might be enough to get you a 1/4oz, but personally I find 1/4 and 1/2oz gold coins to be an awkward size.

Either save another $1,000 to get a nice big 1oz gold coin, OR buy a 1/10oz gold and put the rest into silver.

sorry buddy, like I told the last Floridian, there is 0 gold of natural sources in your state. However, look into metal detecting if your still interested in looking for gold, as hundreds of ships were lost carrying gold off the coast.

I am not super concerned with prices, I am expecting 25-30 dollars per ASE. And the others I am just trying to think about what might be fun to have around.

yeah that's what I was thinking myself. Those austrian ducats look amazing and I'd love to have one

imo wait, i just can't see demand for silver holding once everyone goes back to work, even if it is just temporary until the next wave of Wu-Flu
when you can get silver eagles for less then $20/oz do it

I think you can get 1/4 oz gold for around 500 or so. But it is really what you feel comfortable with, at 700 you can easily get over 20 silver eagles, or three 10 oz silver bars-ish.

Are those legal currency? Could you use them in a store to annoy the fuck out of Euro-wagies?
