I think Richard is right when he says that "the only thing crypto is good for is going up in price", which seems likely seeing how little adoption it has.
There are many interesting ideas that could be done with crypto. Chainlink is one for instance, but we are not there yet.
For this space to have value, we need adoption. To get adoption there has to be a simple, profitable incentive for people to make a wallet. BTC is not interesting enough for normies to get a wallet, as you can only hold it or sell it.
Hex however does have what it takes to get people to use it. I won't go into the game theory of how it works, because it's too complex. I'll just say that Hex is a backwards engineered system for storing value. Every aspect of the system is designed to incentivize people to hold their tokens, punishing weak hands and rewarding whales and people who hold.
If we are moving towards digital currency, a digital store of value is necessary. Hex is the best proposal for such a system. It's not just digital gold like BTC. Hex is digital gold, digital cash, programmable money, and a decentralized federal reserve where anyone can print their own inflation.

When I bought I was hoping for 0.01$ for the end of 2020, but now that it's moving so fast, I don't know. Could go up much higher.
There's still a lot of censorship and fud keeping it down for now. If it gets on cmc or binance I think it'll go exponential very fast, because right now many don't know it even exists.
