Here's a coin I don't see Yas Forums mentioning very often. Who else here is holding a bag of this? I am about to get in, I have just started using Brave and think it's a great browser, and the coin itself is looking like a strong buy at the moment.

What does Yas Forums think?

lol

>I have just started using Brave and think it's a great browser
lmao I thought I was in 2017 again
enjoy your dead coin

love brave but BAT is never going to be valuable ever.

BAT is a bluechip crypto. There's no need to shill it. Do you see people shilling coca cola? of course not.

>Ethereum and Ethereum affiliates partner with Brave
>Release utility on Brave

Thats literally all that has to happen for it to become astro fucking nomical. Im not in BAT whatsoever but lets be real. It can pop off.

>high market cap
>still worth pennies
>has a unique selling point

what bothers me is that idk how easily you can earn BAT just by using Brave. it will never be valuable if everyone is mining to some degree

I don't own BAT, but BAT and Brave might be the most legit project in crypto in my opinion.

>Here's a coin I don't see Yas Forums mentioning very often.
lol.

About Brave: I haven't earned any BAT in my Brave browser in weeks.
No idea why, I didn't change any of my settings. I just stopped earning any BAT a few weeks back.
I tried turning off rewards for a day then turning it back on, that was about a week ago. Still 0.0 BAT expected for April.

have you installed an ad blocker recently?

For real lmao its a crazy idea and was well implemented. I can totally see BAT taking off. In some wierd cyberpunk universe.
*female robot voice*: "Thank you for your attention. Zero, point two fife basic attention tokens have been deposited in your MiChip. Thank you."

lol even in that scenario it still wouldnt be worth much
okay then youre better off investing in the platform...the successful erc20s would be spending gas which would drive up the price of eth

Thanks for responding.
No I did not, but I'll look at what other security settings I might have enabled.

Patiently waiting for the BAT thot poster

BAT is the next big crypto hiding in plain sight. Brave has 14m users, near full circulation, and BAT held on exchanges is the lowest it has ever been.

Brave is trying to build a global ad platform, and is growing at over 10% month over month. That is the type of growth you double down on rather than ignoring. Publisher ads, state level ads, the sku and self service platform are very close. Couple that with expanded utility like 3rd party apps or VPN services etc and you have one of the biggest web 3 giants.

Goddamnit fine. I'll sell some bitty at 8500 and get a bag

Forgot to mention that it's one of the few coins listed on major exchanges and defi protocols. The fundamentals have only gotten stronger while the price has stayed the same. When it pops it's going to compound.

There are a number of legit projects, but BAT is the one that is seeing front end adoption.

Nothing in the second paragraph is going to make bat moon if the first paragraph wasn’t enough already. This is a fundraising token given away en mass for free even after the ico. It’s never going up.

This is idex shitcoin tier shilling. A project this size needing to hire pajeets to pump it tells you all you need to know about it.

I make like 30-40 BAT per month, I'm sure some people could make significantly more but probably not more than double that, assuming they're not gaming the system somehow. I doubt the typical person (in a broader sense than crypto-enthusiasts and general internet dwellers) would make more than me. I don't know if there's any plan to reduce the rewards (currently 0.05 BAT/ad) if the price were to increase to an exponential level like a dollar or more.

using a vpn by any chance?

Nobody is speculating on the token price so it's not going up like other tokens. The difference between BAT and other tokens is that it has to be purchased, and those speculative tokens are going to one day have to provide a product with users or they will dump to zero after funds run out.

Go in your localappdata folder and check when the bundle_state file has been updated. If it hasn't been updated in a log time delete it (I'd u want just rename it). Make sure your browser is closed when u do this. Reopen it, go on google.com , update the catalog again, and u should get ads again.
Also bBAT is the biggest shitcoin out there.
T. hacked ur mon

I am unironically in BAT, I have about 9,176. I'm trying to trade BAT/ETH and it's been hit or miss, once I think it's going to take off it doesn't.

What gives me hope is seeing how it usually holds historical supports and how it pops off every now and then.

From a fundamentals point of view Brave is going to be a very popular browser one day. two of my friends already use it and I never even mentioned it to them. But not quite sure how the economics of it will do, it's kind of made to buy and spend. Idk how many hodlers there will be

The amount of BAT you make just by using it and viewing ads isn't enough to keep the value of the coin itself down. It's just a cool little feature.

I'm optimistic on getting a bag now because as said, if you look at the history of the price of BAT, now presents a valuable opportunity to get some at a good price. It is going up form here, even if it doesn't moon. I'm not talking make-it-level gains here, but a nice little chunk.

Theres a fixed supply and in theory advertisers should be buying more and more and users will thin the supply out more and more.

If brave hits 25m users by the end of the year there will only be enough BAT for each person to hold less than 60. I have like 10x that in just my browser wallets.

This is just assuming people are earning from browser rewards. The sku is coming soon which functions as a payment system. A $5 monthly paywall immediately eats up like 30 BAT

Why does this need to be a cryptocurrency niggle me this

Brave browser is awesome, no longer using Chrome, all Brave all day baby .
And it's cool we're getting BAT tokens for "watching" ads but i seriously doubt anyone is clicking and watching these ads.
Just don't see how advertisers would be OK with this setup.
I think what's needed is for advertisers to give people discounts for buying with BAT that would entice people to watch the ads and even to buy the products/services.

easy adoption in a crypto-currency filled time? If it wasn't a crypto what would it be, how would it work? If it was just brave's own token type thing they would have to handle all the transactions themselves as well.

>I think what's needed is for advertisers to give people discounts for buying with BAT that would entice people to watch the ads and even to buy the products/services.

Hey, that's actually a really good idea.

BAT is working on becoming a web standard. Brave software would be able to license their advertising system and other software out without the third party being able to hack the tokens or use counterfeit software. BAT would make a lot of tokens and businesses obsolete and it's getting closer and closer.

Hi, Lad.

>A project this size needing to hire pajeets
Where are the Pajeets?

Are you using a VPN? Are you getting other pop up notifications from other programs still?

A project this size needs a penis to match

i use brave and 4chanx and the option to hover over a thread in the catalog to expand and show posts gets unchecked every time i open a new tab. it's pretty annoying.

BAT is great if you're trying to support websites that lack access to normal payment processing

i like brave, but i would never use BAT

dont forget winklevoss just tweeted it the other day and about to be listed on Gemeni
