-Built-from-scratch blockchain -Novel consensus algorithm (not PoW or PoS) -Sybil/AI resistant (passed Winograd test, future plans to further harden the AI-resistance aspect) -Former BTC Lightning Network developers -Weekly updates to the network/client -Growth of nodes is at 20-30% per epoch (~12 days), already at 2000 nodes (all semi-unique, only a small portion owns 2 nodes, let's call it 10 percent and that's still very high imo) -First movers' advantage in digital identity (truly decentralized and trustless) -Potential identity layer to the Ethereum network (interopable with Ethereum, the code itself is a heavily altered hard fork that solves the Layer 1 constraints) -Not even traded on any major exchanges, Tier 1 coming within the year -Almost exactly $2m mcap, still a microcap
Is this going to go the way of Orchid (too niche, no interest) or is this a bottle rocket ready to explode?
>the code itself is a heavily altered hard fork that solves the Layer 1 constraints.
Who told you this is so. I have not found any official communication regarding this. This is not the case. Their IAVL+ Tree is a fork of Cosmos' Tendermint and their consensus is inspired (not exactly the same) Algorand's consensus mechanism. So don't mislead and misinform.
Regarding the rest, yes it is going to be a moonshot. At peak of next bull run (if it ever happens) I guess Idena could touch 3 figures but, and this is a big BUT depending upon how good they are able to implement sharding, governance and accessibility tools (mobile etc.).
So overall this is a smart buy right now (1000-1500 Sat) considering all the things. And it's extremely innovative and disrupting as well.
Jose Rogers
Yikes, definitely had that wrong. Thanks for clearing it up, interesting that it's forked from Cosmos' Tendermint (although I've heard it's a great platform, was interested in another token that deployed it). But your thoughts pretty much mirror mine. I've been in it for 5 epochs but it's still amazing how little attention this is getting. Yas Forums will be Yas Forums I guess.
Luis Campbell
>I've been in it for 5 epochs but it's still amazing how little attention this is getting. This isn't quite true, there's been tons of pajeet shilling of it as recently as last week. I hold a bag myself, and I'm happily plugging along with my stacks, but this is definitely not a coin to shill with it being on a literal who exchange and a testnet still.
Great. Cosmos' Tendermint is an open source development platform and all those using it are basically enhancing and diversifying the Tendermint itself. Very neat and smooth code work there.
Isaiah Parker
Nice shill thread, guys. Totally spontaneous and unplanned. Bravo!
It was at $0.16 three weeks ago, and now it's at $0.09. What happened? And where is the volume?
At least the anonymous devs are happy. They hold 70% of the supply. Maybe one day they will also figure out what the use case for the DNA token is, because right now there is absolutely none. It's worthless.
Everyone on Yas Forums is already aware that this is a scam, so I don't know what you are trying to achieve with you daily shilling. Nobody is buying your bags, miners. Who would want to PAY for something that is (a) worthless, and (b) was acquired by you for free.
Envious of your "GREAT' intellect and foresight. Just WOW. What a great minds Biz hosts nowadays----------------------------------------------
Chase Wright
Why is the token needed?
Christopher Morgan
Your "great mind" is trusting an anonymous team, who hold 70% of the token supply?
Zachary Harris
Because the big old Ethereum is slow, can't handle Idena's checkpoint verifications and can't host IPFS-enabled Flips. That's why....There are a lot of other reasons as well.
Hunter Lee
You are a special genius really...........And I am not sarcastic here-----
Nathan Gutierrez
Why are you dodging questions? It almost seems that you have no answers that wouldn't make this project seem really shady.
It will take years for the anonymous team's token supply to equal 50% of the total supply. Until then, they will always hold the majority of tokens.
Let us also keep in mind that there are no current use cases for the DNA token, aside from mining it, and then dumping your bags on an exchange that has no liquidity.
What about the unlimited supply? There is no hard cap on the amount of DNA tokens. Unlimited supply makes the token lose it's value. Kind of like U.S. printing billions of dollars weekly.
Also, have you seen the Buy/Sell ratio on qTrade? There are 40 sellers for every buyer. This creates a huge downward pressure on the price of the token.
Do you think that Yas Forums is stupid, or something?
Julian Thomas
Alright, true. Sure brilliant user! You just saved us all. Thank you for pointing us towards how shady Idena is, and why and how to avoid it. Appreciate it!
John Moore
the fud is making me nervous frens, i can see where he’s coming from. what if the unknown problem this is going to solve/usecase is 2 years away? 5? the tech is cool and fun but idk i can see the other perspective to
Look user you are free to make your mind. If you don't have trust in it then sell it and be done away with it. It's just that simple.

The Onchain Advertisement is already being implemented (check the GitHub) (and yes, it IS targeted - check Idena Community Report medium.com/idena/idena-community-report-current-state-and-next-steps-dce97a0e3034). The way I see it, 3-6 more months for fixing bugs, implementing ads, and gaining more people, then promotion and listing on a decent exchange/s and then we'll see if it's worth it. - Unlim Supply - supposed to be balanced by burning; - 40 to 1 ratio? I wonder where that number came from, but yeah, there are no use cases currently and some miners are selling, but people are accumulating heavily ar 900 sats. - Premine - It's broken up for different goals and distributed to public addresses (comm. report), so anyone can see what's in them. DYOR, basically

sell those bags and buy LCX. thank me later
Ian Roberts
>The Onchain Advertisement is already being implemented (check the GitHub) link for a coding brainlet pls fren
the onchain ads are the most retarded use case of this, and i say this as a top 100 wallet smart contracts utilizing a decentralized identity are going to shake the foundations of the global financial system. I'm not saying that Idena is it necessarily, but it is certainly miles ahead of anyone, and they're building interoperability with the Ethereum chain, as is clear from the code and their recent AMA. Make your own decisions, but this enough is for me to go balls deep. I'm deep in Kleros for a similar reason, as I'm sure many others are.
Aaron Fisher
jesus fuck, thank you user. i-is this as big as...
James Reyes
user was good today.
Christian Wright
what's your contact t. top 30
Adam Gonzalez
not telling, although I'd love to have a Yas Forums hangout room with idena identities. can't wait for these fucks to implement smart contracts
Jason Baker
we can already dumb fuck, Yas Forums isn't the only "user" channel.
