Rent is passed due. 14 of my 22 tenants are refusing to pay rent. Their stimulus package is mine by law. I still have to make mortgage payments. This isn’t right. I am a human being that worked hard and bought rental properties so I could comfortably retire and tend to my passions. Now I could potentially lose my life’s work because of slackers who live hand to mouth and refuse to have emergency funds like responsible members of society. I have a family to feed to, why shouldn’t I get paid? Why should I subsidize other people’s shelter from my own pocket? When are property owners getting OUR bailout? It's NOT fair
I have enough emergency funds to cover five maybe six tenants not paying their rent but 14? 14! Why should I wipe out MY savings over this? Landlords are entitled to a larger check for EACH MONTH of the shutdown.
>buys investment >expects to be exempt from market conditions
Logan Young
Exactly. You're just unlucky enough to be a landlord in the pandemic era. Must have a Plan B when things like this happen.
Joseph Jackson
>Daddy! you need to offer me free housing! This isn't fair!
Juan Turner
real real estate owner here. everyone paid on time for april and everyone will pay on time in may.
Jaxson Jenkins
Based
I am a renter and I have well over a years worth of rent in savings because my landlord does not rent to niggers or jobless trash. If i was fired tomorrow paying rent would be the least of my worries.
Oh no you failed to plan out your whole Risk-reward thing
Christian Phillips
Why isn't your landlord able to do the same? O
Andrew Richardson
Tell your mortgage company what the IRS says:
" PAYMENT STATUS NOT AVAILABLE "
Brody Green
nice larp 89% of rent was paid for the month as of last week
James Gonzalez
just evict those who dont pay lmao
Jason Garcia
this is the risk that comes with investing in properties, sorry but you aren't nearly big enough to get bailed out lmao bite the pillow and take it faggot
Thomas James
are you gonna be okay Landy?!
John Morgan
have you tried negotiating with your bank to pause mortgage repayments?
Isaac Campbell
okay and maybe you should have bought crypto instead of boomer buildings
Lincoln Price
The IRS can tell us "payment status not available" with OUR MONEY.
oy v-...oh my gosh! this is another travesty! these scoundrels do not understand the integral part u-..you as a land owner partake in! call up uncle mort-....your lawyer and make sure this does not go unpunished!!!
just kick down those wooden doors of theirs and let out that noxious gas that are unpaying squatters!!!!
Camden King
>stealing money that is supposed to going hard working americans now that's where you fucked up, you assumed you weren't a goddamn leech in this situation. You don't just get money on the rent of 22 people, and not have some kind of backup plan when people can't make your payments. Landlords are literal scum due to how empty their hearts are, and that's off on display right now. Have a good life you leech.
Connor King
okay mr. middle/upper middle class real estate owner, not every normie can afford that shit these days espescially with how wages aren't being equal to effort these days. aaaand to top that off if more of your tenants are out of a job and your local courts are shat on, well i wouldn't sit on that investment for too long
Dylan Clark
Just told my bank the same message gov't gives me:
>Payment Status Not Available According to information that we have on file, we cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time.
They can call the IRS if they need their money.
Gavin Phillips
>Their stimulus package is mine by law. hahaha
Connor Baker
>Must have a Plan B when things like this happen.
But if everyone had a Plan B then no one would.
Gavin Diaz
The SBA made landlords eligible for the EIDL and PPP.
