sounds like you've already made your decision. before you leave, ask him if you could speak to him privately. arrange it so there aren't any witnesses/cameras and kick him in the balls as hard as you can when least expects it. i know it seems harsh, but it's necessary for true justice to be served.

What I would do is accept your mistake on the same slack page he called you out on, show how it will be fixed in the future, then tell him to in the future message him directly because doing it in the general board was unnecessary.

If he says some more shit, tell him all you’re asking is to be treated with respect you show others, and if that’s a problem you’ll find another place to intern that does.

Don’t make the mistakes I made when I was starting out by taking shit, ESPECIALLY if you’re not getting paid.
