Is there still a point in getting into crypto?

I'm okay with not having crazy 10x a year growths we've seen before; also not planning on active trading, just thinking of keeping some.

Depends on how much money you want to spend

I put around 1/5 of what I make into some form of savings and since the beginning of the year I've barely spent anything at all (don't need much for essentials either). Might as well buy some risky shit I guess.

yeah imagine the following:
people start putting 1-2% of their portfolio into btc the rest in traditional assets. a 10x on btx means their total gains doubled or quadrupled. at the exposure risk limit of 1-2%.
if you put 10% in bitcoin (any more is not really recommended at this point because of the systemic risks) a 10x on that means you doubled your entire portfolio instead of growing it with 10%.

never more than 5-10% of your entire portfolio into crypto

BUY link

well i kinda had to because against my will and plans 60% of my portfolio is extreme conservative assets like real estate. inheritance and family shit...
i would be 50-60% into stocks and 10% into crypto normally. rest cash and various other bullshits like metals.
so now i'm 20% into bitcoin and 60% real estate 10% stocks and funds and 10% cash.

this one time, at the band camp

It's all about risk, after all real estate is a decent cushion if something goes wrong (except we're in for '07-'08 part 2, which doesn't seem that likely)

just stack btc and dont buy alts
