depends what age

what does it matter

yes definitly

I only need $863k

yes

100% yes.

I would however try to make more from it so my family can also retire.

will retire with 216k+

yes definitely

Yes but not enough to allow 3+ generations of freedom/power. I will not stop until I have established a noteworthy family with an physical estate to serve as a new ancestral home base for future generations.

In Eastern Europe

No but if i play my cards right I can make some passive income then retire with certainty.

Do you mean just $2m cash or $2m of asset generating cash?

300k will be enough

If put into the right dividend stocks/funds, you would get around 120-140k a year in passive income. Minus capital gains tax, you would net just over 100k a year. That would be really comfy, but 4 million would be way better. Passive income of 200k after tax.

Considering an age of 30, you easily could easily retire, even if you let the money in a low interest fund (3% p.a.) and an assumed annual inflation of 2%.

2 million cash

Yes, but why?
I mean... I make already over 100k in EUR per year and still dont know where to put my money apart from ETFs and the occasional additional payment for the house.

My wife is happy, the baby is on the way, our jobs are save and we are basically happy that we are not at any risk from corona. For what would you use 200k a year?

heres one i have if you're currently 28 years old, making $60,000 and intend to die at 100 years old

Attached: retire.png (540x391, 17.51K)

the take away from this being you need $3,189,717 when you retire at 65 to make it to 100 years old and still have $1. assuming inflation of 3% and your investment is making 8% year over year

Dont forget taxes. My example is calculated with 25%, as it is the regular tax in Germany on capital gains.

yeah that wouldnt be too difficukt to add

how much is that in rupees?

why that amount

why do you have to retire in luxury when you can enjoy a great life with 100k and not working. remember you dont need to save for retirement anymore because you already have it

How much do I need to retire in Singapore with residency?

A lot, rent is extremely expensive in singapore and as a foreigner you will likely be forced to rent 1 br private condominium as you wont have access to HDBs and you will be paying 2-3k in rent a month at the minimum, stay away.

>t. Singaporean
How much are we talking? $5m?

Easy
That's 3 mil aussie
I'd buy 3x 700k apartments netting me approx 6k a month in rent alone. That gives me 900k to buy my own place free hold or deposit on a mansion

what kind of question is this. yes of course, op

Retire in Thailand or the Philippines and live like a King.
