It's over

Single point of failure.
will be used to supply a chainlink nodes data.

It's an API which means it can be used on the Chainlink oracle network retards.

>just trust our centralised oracle, bro

Does anyone remember the flash crash on only coin base last year?

Yeah I totally want to trust my smart contracts with a single API.

Are they calling their API feed an oracle? or is something more going on here

OH NO NO NO

>There have been people on this board for three years who still don't know what Chainlink actually does or what an API is

so how is this an oracle?

I barely know how blockchain works

i'm here for the memes

You realize Chainlink is not an oracle, it is a network of staked incentivized competing oracles?

You know what... fuck it I’m out

No one can help you people

Like I'm out of LINK

Unironically the most bearish thing I’ve seen regarding Link in the past 12 months...I’m glad I can exit at 3.80 right now...

so glad i fucking sold

Also
>Chainlink: spends 3 years creating oracles
>Coinbase: does it in 10 minutes
It was a scam all along.

Did anyone here actually read the article?

It's a shit oracle. It's literally just a plug into coinbase pro API that "rejects data points that significantly deviate from the expected volatility of each asset."

Its an absolute nothingburger, if you wanted to use coinbase pros API as your oracle, you could have done that before this. Now all you get is the promise that if anything deviates heavily, they will reject it. quite literally the most basic proof of concept "oracle" possible

They'll use LINK, but I'm glad I dumped another free 80% on you idiots today and re-bought 5x my ARPA position.

post your sale confirmation user

Won’t happen
Real marines are the ones fudding the hardest

This is what I understood. It's just a price feed that is guaranteed to be "correct" by a coinbase signature

What do you think of that Open Oracle System linked to in the article?

single point of failure

post your sell and buy

The psyop is real, and today the jews took another marine out of the ranks. f

OH FUCK

JUST SOLD MY 191 LINKIES

SMART MONEY SELLING NOW

>>There have been people on this board for three years who still don't know what Chainlink actually does or what an API is

hello? can you give me an quik rundown?? how does chainlink work? what is apl?

keep buying into the scam retards lmfao

Attached: chainlink scam.png (629x978, 152.91K)

the Open Oracle System is just a collaboration of many oracles, in fact in the article linked they mention chainlink by name as a compatible oracle that can be a part of the consensus

at the end of the day, if you want extremely basic price feeds, then technically you could use this new oracle, i guess it ultimately depends on cost per call and how secure you want your smart contract to be
chainlink is still by far a better oracle than this, unless coinbase is leaving out massive technical details in this blog post, which i doubt

I really hope you didn't fuck yourself up with this decision.
Good luck man.

What are some books on this? I only understand books

KEK. You do realise coinbase's oracle will join the Chainlink oracle network, right? How do people still not understand what Chainlink is?

>One line of code that any fucking coin can implement
LOL, FUCK YOU LINKTARDS!
