I'm gonna bullshit and say 2 million new claims. And that's being low ball assuming that the bulk of the layoffs have already happened. I could be wrong and the SBLs running out could actually trigger 5 million new jobless claims. Shot in the dark is: I wish I could say. One thing an user pointed out in another thread is that the increases in the market tend to fade with each week. Meaning that the claims reports could wind up pushing it to negative. But this assumes that the claims are reflected in market sentiment. I assume there is no clear correlation and expect a crabby day since there's really nothing really interesting coming down the pipe.
But then for all I know we could get news of a wave of foreclosures which would set off panic selling.
P/E isn't the be all end all. 26 is near the average P/E for the S&P, you pay a premium for quality, even though it's at a discount right now, they stand to benefit from huge ways. Acquisitions already starting. Low interest rates help them even more.
what's wrong with weebs? Is it just feminine timid men? How do I short them?

>GE >F >HAL
Is this 1991?
Also that damn chart on CEI, holy shit, MRO is decent.
Brayden Wilson
Something insulated from U.S. Market chaos generally helps. I'm in on MUFG for their upside potential after this all ends. I'm also in on GE for the fact that they've got contracts during the worst of this to make ventilators and the likes. Any losses I do take are tax deductible so I'm not terribly worried. Intelsat is hovering near dead horse status at 1 dollar, down from 20 And I'm curious to see if they have any upside potential when the bandwidth auctions kick off. SNAP fitbit, Gopro etc. USO is about to do a reverse stock split which will increase shares but have no effect on your total investment unless if oil goes back up after the crisis ends. The big thing right now is trying to gauge whether or not USOs fund will survive the coronavirus pandemic or not. A number of small companies have already folded and declared bankruptcy.

>Greatest unemployment in history >Greatest world wide debt crisis in history >Greatest oil crisis in history >Impending depression, possible war >Stocks at same level last year during a bull run *sips hot cocoa*
do any of you trade for a living/as your primary source of income? what is your strategy? like, how many of you make consistent gains vs. how many of you are just gamblers?

why are you posting little girls as reaction images? Are you a girl?
Jackson Hill
WTF happened to CEI. How does a company go from 5k to a 1.
Jace Powell
Kek made me audibly laugh. at those prices there's not that many good reliable picks but I believe in GE,F and HAL to make it out of this in one piece. MRO Though is a amazing long term buy
You're asking the wrong community. Most people just have 5k-10k in their accounts.
If you want to START day trading for a living you're going to need around 100k and so far I've only seen one guy post that.
Aiden Cruz
I bought OAS and QEP today with all of my savings bc I think Iran wants war to drive oil price up. Both are up 20% aftermarket but I am afraid that one of them if not both will go bankrupt. Does anyone have an opinion on this? Will Trump let Oil companies go under? Will the military industrial complex help my trade? This is the first trade that I've ever made irl.
Jose Watson
I do long term investment and a few commodities. Actually what I've been seeing in the commodity market leads me to believe there is a possibility for some short term profits in staples such as tomatoes and peppers and the likes. So I think I'll try my hand at selling some produce over the summer. See if I net much profit. If I do I'll save a bit to reinvest for the next season, and the rest I'll dump into my long term investments so I can make even more money passively.
Lucas Russell

Never underestimate the modern mans desperation now that the sexual market place has been upended by social media, dating apps, and the destruction of man.

GUYS TELL ME HOW TO MAKE MONEY IN STOCK MARKET PLEASE!!!
women can smell insecurity in a man. If a guy is feminine, weak, or girly in temperament, it repulses them.
I recommend this book (as does Warren Buffett if that makes a difference lol). If you genuinely start to like people and alter yourself socially, it makes you exponentially charismatic and a better person overall.
>Will Trump let Oil companies go under? Will the military industrial complex help my trade?
Yes and yes. Just keep watching his press conferences, faggot.
Blake Rodriguez
OOF
Yeah trump's black military guy just FUCKED UP and let the reason for the mask guidance change slip >you have to understand the conntext that guidance was given, we had a run on medical masks and our healthcare workers would be put at risk >what has changed? Well the mask shortage is over
In other words: we lied to you We fucked up and didn't get enough masks before informed citizens started getting masks, and we didn't want you to use them. We wanted more important people to use them.
kek yes that retard
he's been posting for weeks that anime is for trannies and pedophiles, and he's finally lost his shit and decided to attack smg
based as always, crim. possibly the only decent tripfag sorry about nrz
i don't get it. in 5 seconds i can be watching an 18 year old pawg getting fucked so hard her ass prolapses, for free (literally for free in the sense that they're supported by ads and i have adblock so i don't see shit). anything you want no matter how tame or extreme exists and free online, easily accessible, so why would i ever pay for some 3/10 chicks flashing their shitty titties in a fucking selfie?
Elijah Jackson
Because it's oil. It works like a shitcoin under these conditions.
Kevin Barnes
I am just fucking around until unemployment runs out desu. I did however make 2k this month trading futures, definately not as much as my salary as a SE but i am considering moving to upstate new york or maine where that is actually a livable income.
Jacob Davis
I'm not seeing much of a market for that where I am. If I lived in a trendy type location I would go all in. God knows I have the planters for that.
Hudson Clark
i would consider myself a likeable asshole, people seem to gravitate towards me because i'll be intentionally brash, then walk something i've said back as i recite facts, is that covered in the book?
Matthew Stewart
trump just bodied that chink again
Cooper Barnes

Those three have managed to survive the 2008 crash, and its likely for the government to bail them out worst case scenario for posterity.

I was actually looking at MPC because I think demand for gas is gonna go up before the crude issue is gonna be further resolved, also less exposure in general to shitty US oil and the retail segment is another insurance policy.
GE is a shell of its former self, divestment has hurt it a fuck ton and aviation is now hurting. I mean a guy came out and said they were cooking books and people believed him, thats how shitty they don't like it.
craft.co/halliburton/metrics Hal has a lot of debt, XOM is my upstream play. They had issues even before this. That's the issue I take with those picks, you want to buy into strength during a recession, not buy into some turn around story when the economy is in the shitter.
But I understand that stocks under 20 is a pretty annoying constraint. What's your picks for all prices?
Jaxon Martin
>muh human rights if people were rational on an individual level, everyone would be superhuman in intelligence and physicality, but we have obesity epidemics, credit card debt, and people that haven't read a book in a year.
If you give people UBI, they'd squander it. People that would be worth giving UBI don't need it because they're so diciplined despite external factors that they already rise to the top
Brody Sanders
one of the most important lessons i learned from that book is that "the sweetest sound anyone can hear is their own name". if you want to be friends with someone, learn their name and use it a lot. "oh hey John, how's it going?" "could you pass me that pen, John? thanks" "need any help there, John?" find ways to use it a lot (within reason, obviously don't be a fucking sperg). alternatively, if you never say someone's name or they don't ever say yours then you can't really ever be anything except acquaintances at best.
Thomas Walker
I still like NRZ. The chance to buy it so low was great. Lowered my average by like 9 dollars.
Josiah Watson
Can't tell if trolling, retarded, completely delusional, or some combination of the above
Do you really expect people to start flying in drove in the next few weeks? And for the airlines to pull revenues out of their ass?
Only one can I make a bull case for is RTX since it is largely dependent on uncle sam to build shit to blow up sand nigs whose oil we don't even need now lol
Liam Gray
is this really what it comes down to? just pure luck right?
dude you are old af I plan on being retired before your age.
Camden King
Probably. So why not waive like... rent or mortgage if you make under 75k, or whatever. Fluff the budget for them without allowing them to blow it on ebt and 40s
James Stewart
That enables complacency and an entitled attitude. We have welfare, it should be used for people who are in a temporary financial hardship and for the small population that simply cant work for various reasons. If your capable of working but just wanna leech off others you are what we call a nigger, regardless of race no one owes you anything
Adrian Gray
no, there's a method to the madness but you have to take the time to learn and study it. you're probably to lazy and/or stupid for it. it requires math.
Logan Mitchell
buy low sell high. Now if you want to lose money you do it the Yas Forums way and buy high and sell low
Jaxon Phillips
I'm an insurance underwriter. Most of my shit is in a long hold portfolio for divvies. I trade commodities mostly gold and oil on my spreadbetting account. Its basically gambling but I have no debt, house is paid off and I've made about 15k over 3 years on and off and bulk up the portfolio with it. Wouldn't ever want to daytrade for a living.
Hunter Phillips
Sure, I feel you. So why are we printing a trillion dollars every day in corporate welfare?

For anyone buying USO right now: >As of April 22, 2020, in response to ongoing extraordinary market conditions in the crude oil markets, including “super contango” (a higher level of contango arising from the overabundance of oil being produced and the limited availability of storage for such excess supply), USO may invest approximately 20% of its portfolio in crude oil futures contracts on the NYMEX and ICE Futures in the June futures contract, approximately 50% of its portfolio in crude oil futures contracts on the NYMEX and ICE Futures in the July contract, approximately 20% of its portfolio in crude oil futures contracts on the NYMEX and ICE Futures in the August contract, and approximately 10% of its portfolio in crude oil futures contracts on the NYMEX and ICE Futures in the September contract. The foregoing announcement of USO’s intended investments is not meant to limit its ability to invest in other investments as permitted in USO’s prospectus. Accordingly, in response to ongoing extraordinary market conditions in the crude oil markets, including super contango, USO may invest in the above described crude oil futures contracts on the NYMEX and ICE Futures in any month available or in varying percentages or invest in any other of the permitted investments described below and in its prospectus, without further disclosure. USO intends to attempt to continue tracking USO’s benchmark as closely as possible, however significant tracking deviations may occur above and beyond the differences described herein. USO’s portfolio holdings as of the end of the prior business day are posted each day on the website: www.uscfinvestments.com/uso.
GE has been on a downtrend for 20 years F too HAL is just a 3x leverage oil but with a mountain of debt. Just laid off 400 more people.

Because guys who are viewed as the lowest of society want a relationship. With porn there is no relationship, these guys think that if they throw money at these women that they will be rewarded with them being asked out etc.
We are social creatures user and the longer you go on without the touch and love, not even sex, of a woman it kills you.
