Is this technically legal

>Own apartment(I actually own it and rent it out)
>List apartment for rent
>Charge a $60 non-refundable application fee
>respectfully decline every application
>collect revenue

Unless I'm outed, I can't imagine there's an issue with this plan. What say all of you?

It is fraud if you don’t intend to rent it. A lawyer will rape you.

Don't be a fucking Chink. Don't do things to your conscience that you'll inevitably regret when you're older.

gtfo of biz

how can they prove intent

when did you decide to cut your balls off?

by convincing a jury. are you retarded?

wouldnt it be funny if OP is actually white? I sometimes find it ironic that we throw around epithets like jew and chink when in actuality its probably mostly white guys that are the guys talking about doing immoral shit on biz

Need to just have high credit score requirement. Document every decline didnt meet requirements.

Being a capitalist doesn't mean you have to be an irredeemable kike with how you make money.

lold

Would this not just be a small claims matter, and the most the OP stands to lose is the original $60?

OP is probably white, a jew wouldn't need to think twice about running a scam like this.

Just move to the next town and put in a trench coat.

>What say all of you?
Personally, if you're going to go all underhanded then I'd suggest a bigger score to make up for the risk, but if you think it's worth your time to scam poor people out of $60 at a time then you probably have bigger problems to worry about.

>its probably mostly white guys that are the guys talking about doing immoral shit on biz

Very few chinks, Jews and brownies duel on ethical dilemmas. They just do it out of their bug/reptilian/poo minds without care for the others.

t. live in third world mutt country.

Exactly, that's what I was thinking. There's no way to prove I didn't intend to rent the thing

OP isnt hesitating due to ethical considerations like youre implying, hes just hesitating because he doesnt want to get caught

>muh ethics
Go fuck yourself faggot

If you're seeking legal advice on immoral activities on Yas Forums then you deserve all the prison rape you receive.

>defrauds 9 people
Now a felony

OP isnt hesitating due to ethical considerations like youre implying, hes just hesitating because he doesnt want to get caught. funny watching you try to cover for OP and act like this isnt actually the case even though its all written out

$540 would still go to small claims court retard

the crass lack of awareness of people like you that insist on "white people good always!" blows my mind

when you study the jew long enough you become the jew

Thats a jewish man

>Numerous anons saying this is jewish bullshit
Great, now I'm certain it'll work. Thanks guys

Couldn't not technically skip the "own apartment"step in order to run this scam?

It’s common. I’m not a Jew so I don’t know what it’s called. Common for any organization that accepts fees.

I know it's common, but the only way this isn't foolproof is the fact that I don't intend on renting the apartment, but if I do find a qualified tenant and just leave the listing up, I don't think there's any way to prove intent

>I'd suggest a bigger score to make up for the risk
Well this is what I'm working with, what's the highest someone would consider for an application fee?

*could also ask for a 1 month rent deposit instead, but that's going to be tough to get volume

Yep, that's what my grandfather did.

And how did he make out with it?

>what's the highest someone would consider for an application fee?
depends on the state.

'State laws about application fees differ widely, so it’s important to know the rules in your state. Both renters and landlords should check into their state laws on this. California, for example, caps application fees at $47.22, and landlords need to provide the results to tenants if they request it."
