You're going to bust your ass learning complex shit for years just for the chance of a job and be laughed at and underpaid for not having a degree. Even if you do, Indians and shitworlders are taking most of those jobs despite their poor ability. If you are competent, you will be forced to train them before getting fired. It's dreadful mind numbing work stuck in an office where power tripping HR whores can terminate your job in a whim. Those much touted "100k" are by living in an extremely expensive city. Either you live at the poverty line or commute two hours every day. With the exception of web development, it's hard to convert those skills into self employment. You are damned to eternal wagecucking.
Learning to code is for midwits. A waste of intelligence. The actually smart learn how to sell and go into business. I'd rather learn sales, marketing, copywriting or any real useful skills instead of "server room go brrrrrr haha".
How do I learn something, ANYTHING? My brain atrophied
Nolan Ward
Learning is overrated past a certain point.
Easton Turner
None of you are at that point
Eli Watson
>Why would anyone learn to code? Because in order to gain true knowledge one must be willing to use modern tools and understand how things work on a fundamental level. Without that base knowledge everything else gets lost in abstraction. You can never build a sufficiently complex system without mapping out logic, usually in a code structure.
Parker Perry
You learn by doing. If your brain feels "atrophied" it's probably because you treat your body like shit. Stop being a lazy slob. youtube.com/watch?v=DsVzKCk066g Elon Musk once said that trying to understand things at a fundamental level is a waste of time. It may be intellectually gratifying (which I appreciate) but it yields few results for the amount of time invested. It is better to think by analogy instead of fundamentally. That's how you cut through 90% of the bullshit and get things done.
what a retard, even ranjesh is getting a 150k salary if i don't study i feel like wasting my life, i constantly have to study something, i have 2/3 side projects, i literally go crazy if i don't do something useful or let my brain rest keep in mind that neuroplasticity only works when you push your brain to the limit THIS, we need to maximize our intellect in order to efficiently offload all the computational power we need to solve problems using a computer computer is an extension of our brain, if you don't know how to code you will be left behind
Jose Davis
>Elon Musk once said that trying to understand things at a fundamental level is a waste of time.
"boil things down to their fundamental truths and reason up from there" ~ Elon Musk
Landon Hughes
I like it and I can make 150k from my house and I never have to see any of you faggots in RL.
Lincoln Robinson
>"boil things down to their fundamental truths and reason up from there" "[...] that's a physics-like way of seeing things. It is far more time consuming. What I do instead is try to see things by analogy."
Or something like that.
Ryan Green
"Well, I do think there’s a good framework for thinking. It is physics. You know, the sort of first principles reasoning. Generally I think there are — what I mean by that is, boil things down to their fundamental truths and reason up from there, as opposed to reasoning by analogy."
Your reading comprehension is bad and you miss the fucking point because you're a jackass.
"“It is important to view knowledge as sort of semantic tree. Make sure you understand the fundamental principles, ie the trunk and big branches, before you get into the leaves/details or there is nothing for them to hang on to.”
Jacob Collins
Since you called me a jackass, I refuse to continue this discussion unless an apology is sent on my way, because I do not talk with trash.
Dylan Smith
Did I hurt your fee fees pointing out nobody appreciates you trying to justify being stupid?
Christopher Reed
>What Elon musk said is X >No it was y Why would anyone care what a literal snake oil salemen thinks? This guy is so fucking retarded that when he made his digging company, he literally just bought an excavator and dug a hole in his parking lot. Yes, that's the unparalleled intellect of the genius Elon Musk.
Ryan Sullivan
You are incapable of understanding other people's points of view, and discussion with you is fruitless, thus I will refrain from replying to any of your posts any further. You are not worth my time. I know it's trendy to hate on him, but it was just a quote to exemplify how successful people think. This mode of thought is very common among successful business owners and anyone worth a lot. Their time is valuable and they have to discriminate what knowledge is useful to them and what isn't. For example, a business owner doesn't give a damn what technology uses the website you're trying to sell him, he only cares about the features it has, what it does and how will it help him get more clients.
Accumulation of technical knowledge is worthless if your goal is to be anything other than a salaried worker. It may be useful in the initial stage where you're employed saving up money to get started, but even then as I said someone learning sales and marketing skills will make it faster and just as much with 10% of the effort codecucks have to put in.
>he literally just bought an excavator and dug a hole in his parking lot. Yes, I know the absolute shitshow that was. Yet he still makes more than you.
>Accumulation of technical knowledge is worthless if your goal is to be anything other than a salaried worker. Read this over and over while trying to learn anything beyond menial labor, then get back to me.
Evan Morales
>every single person who makes lots of money is very intelligent and is deserving of their money Ladies and gentlemen I present to you: The Absolute Goodest Goy of All Time.
Nicholas Flores
also, if you think business is only about sales and marketing then just kill yourself right now because there is no helping you
Tyler Davis
Maybe not always very intelligent but, unlike you, they do the things that make them earn lots of money. Why would a commie ever browse this board? Why not browse Yas Forums or Yas Forums instead? You'll fit in better.
Alexander Fisher
sales = bullshitting
Zachary Powell
In my country there's a big shortage for most IT related jobs. Junior devs usually get job offers when they're still in college, in fact a lot of developers or analysts don't have a technical degree at all. If you're able to show a portfolio with what you can do, that's already enough. Wages are decent and after to 5 to 10 years of experience a lot of people become contractors and double their net income. Even with all the foreigners and offshore people, it basically guarantees a mid to high paying and stable income.
Jeremiah Brooks
Coding isn't complex, it's easy as fuck. Anybody who can't do it has a room temperature iq.
Elijah Diaz
Anyone can do what Elon does, literally anyone. He literally just says "I want x", and then others do everything for him. He himself has admitted to this (in a roundabout way). A literal braindead gorilla nigger could do what he does. Musk is the quintessential evidence that there are people who just get lucky, and that once you have huge amounts of money you literally cannot lose.
Christian Morgan
Something like 90% of millionaires are self made. So many coincidences! Your entire post is cope.
Bentley Peterson
Fucking pussy kill yourself

Swing and a miss. Try again, that is if you have time in between sucking off anyone who has more wealth than yourself.
Benjamin Cooper
>Since you called me a jackass, I refuse to continue this discussion unless an apology is sent on my way, because I do not talk with trash.
>use modern tools >understand how things work on a fundamental level. pick one.
Modern programming tools are very useful for getting things done but don't fool yourself by thinking that modern programming is by any means "fundamental". There's a reason why high performance applications that need to work close to the metal like games are still built in older C++.
Chase Allen
>A literal braindead gorilla could do what he does
Thousands of lottery winners who lose everything prove you wrong. Getting lucky is one thing, taking advantage of that fortune is quite another.
