Validation failed

Yeah, I'm never going to try again because I woke up early (this is like two epochs ago) and it took over an hour for my node to sync and I missed it by like two minutes. Total bullshit

It’s been 1:30 since I started in the first place. I get on the client at 9:29 and just stare at it until it starts. Never had an issue.

SYNCHRONIZE THE FUCKING OS TIME BEFORE VALIDATION LIKE 15 OR 30 MINUTES AGO... AND GIVE IT AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE VALIDATION TO SYNC....You won't have any problems...

I'm glad Idena filters out the brainlets.

I updated my client and resynched 10 minutes before validation lel, kinda risky though. If you don’t have Idena running the background and you need to sync up Id do it at least 30 mins beforehand.

I already said this weeks ago, but i’ll say it again. Idena won’t be successful because flips are too difficult for most people (sub 100 iq, which is like 80% of the population). It’s not like captchas where you just click an object, you have to actually do critical thinking and most people can’t do that. The flips that people create for validation are awful and most have some sort of cultural divide to them (using politics or movies). It’s unironically over for Idena.

Anyone chance the people missing answers forgot to update the node version to 0.19.4? it was released like 2 hours before the validation.

you do realize 100 is calculated as exactly average, right? And even with a couple bad flips 95% of the rest of them are fine. I had a couple bad flips but scored 100 this time. This is also why I only send invites to whites.

My OS clock autosyncs every day. I just checked, it's less than a second out. The client had been running since yesterday.

I got the update notification a day or two ago.

Yes 100 is average on a bell curve which would be like 70-80% of the population. It’s not only about who you let into the network either. Who is going to use Idena on their website when it can’t identify 70% of humans? No one is going to want to filter out brainlets because even though they’re dumb they still have money.

Vast, vast majority of users successfully pass validation, with occasionally bugs or chinkflips in short session holding a few back. Otherwise the system works pretty well for what it is, which is in testnet and novel to begin with.

Last I checked bitcoin wasn’t trying to prove a person is human. Tell me who is going to actually use Idena? Advertisers right? Why the fuck would they want to advertise to people who can only solve these complex story things?

Advertising usecase is kinda dead in the water at this point, advertises use targeted ads. Quadratic voting (look it up yourself) coupled with sharding and perhaps on-board single click proof of identity portals integrated with web are the things making my dick hard. Not even mentioning this is, by design, interopable with ETH and can be the identity layer for the ethereum network.

Cope. I have a stack of idena that I’ve earned through validation and mining. I still think the network will fail because of the reasons listed above.
